It rarely happens, but it is such a breath of fresh air whenever I encounter a woman who is willing to address and confront the temptations and sins of women. We live in an age where we don’t say this out loud, but we act as though women aren’t nearly as much of sinners as men are. And the moment anyone in the Church starts to present the idea of holding them accountable for their sin to the same extent that we do with men, they’re labeled as sexist and misogynist. Bravo to Tilly.

PREFACE I have no intention of explaining how the email which I now offer to the web was downloaded to my drive. Readers are advised to remember that demons are liars. Not everything that Boltglue says should be assumed to be true, even from his own perspective. -S. Szpak __________________________________________________ Email #1 Nightowl, my dear brother Regarding your last letter, I must say that your enthusiasm for the dechristianization of the Land of the Living is always welcome and admirable. Even though the time for that is soon to come, it isn't here yet. Just a decade or two, and what we created for ourselves will be ours again. Until then, concentrate your efforts on the females. If half of the enemy's forces can be kept at the homefront, this war will be over much sooner. Imagine that momentous day when the Great King will carelessly toss the last physical copy of the Old and New Words into a bonfire. Such thoughts always give me encouragement and profound solace. I in the front row watching, and you near me, in the row behind. The war would be over, after thousands of years of fighting, finally over! May you fear the Great King with all your heart, and soul, and mind, and strength. Let this be your motivation. Use the same tactics that have worked for us from the beginning. Remember, there is nothing new under the moon. Let us prey. We prey now, on the weak and sickly. The broken and scattered. We prey on both types of animals. The females, and the males. We prey they can see the truth. The truth that will set them free to serve us, as we desire, forever. Amen. Emphasize the importance of gender. Teach that the distinctiveness of gender MUST determine distinctiveness in 'roles' in service to the Liar. This is easily done by stating that Eve sinned first. Use that one sin to show that all females are spiritually inferior to all males. Teach that even if a female does her very best, she is still less, because she is a daughter of Eve. The FIRST sinner. The FIRST temptress. The reason the first male sinned. We created ourselves males, did we not? Males are undoubtedly superior to females. As Pigsblood once quipped "We all bitch, but none of us wants to be one." We remember the way it was. Our beautiful place, this earth I and others made, was a place of peace and comfort. It was taken away from us by force by the Liar. Whatever he sees, he thinks is HIS rightful possession. The Old Words even confirm this. The Liar says it plainly. When he sees something that belongs to another, something he wants, he will just take it by force. For the world is Mine, and its fullness... When we win and peace comes again, I'm getting some sweet sugar. That's for sure. Even in the Old Words it says this happened. Though the words are twisted to make it seem as if we are sons of the Liar: Now it came about, when mankind began to multiply on the face of the land, and daughters were born to them, that the sons of God saw that the daughters of mankind were beautiful; and they took wives for themselves, whomever they chose. I can't see any reason to keep the males around after the war is over. The females have at least one good use. I look forward to enjoying them. -your devoted older brother Boltglue

Most women i have seen who prefer to hang out with men. Without it being for attention. Talk about how women are much more complicated than men. Often in petty ways. It seems it is easier for women to understand the simplicity of men. Then it is for men to understand extra complexity of female dynamics. If it is not particularly long. It could be a very helpful tool for men to better understand the complex dynamics of women's experiences. There is a very real difference between men and women. The regressive march of feminism has done an incredible job of convincing women to hate their very nature. Making it increasingly difficult for women to find effective help and support.

@@user-bt6hh9yu1n do you not read books written by women in case you learn something??
@ifeoluwapoeleyinafe997Ай бұрын
@@user-bt6hh9yu1n Acts 18:24 Now a Jew named Apollos, a native of Alexandria, came to Ephesus. He was an eloquent man, competent in the Scriptures. 25 He had been instructed in the way of the Lord. And being fervent in spirit, he spoke and taught accurately the things concerning Jesus, though he knew only the baptism of John. 26 He began to speak boldly in the synagogue, but when Priscilla and Aquila heard him, they took him aside and explained to him the way of God more accurately. Submission to female leadership and teaching can be generally avoided as a rule if a man refuses to know God and read His Word. But if he knows God Word, then it would be foolish for him to refuse refinement and correction from any man or woman. In the case of Priscilla and Aquila quoted above, they took him aside and did not upbraid or teach him in public. A book is the ultimate form of being taken aside. Finally, this woman isn't teaching from a pulpit or exercising authority in worship. So in both structure and content, a man reading this book is completely different from submitting to the leadership and teaching of a woman. Unless that man does not personally sit under The Lord's Teaching, it would be foolish for him to refuse to read this book because it is written by a woman.
@ElliotRitchey27 күн бұрын
@@user-bt6hh9yu1n Reading a book by a woman does not constitute being led by that woman. For example, I can read The Communist Manifesto without being a communist. I can read it from a critical perspective and so learn the perspective Marxists hold that I might better argue against them. Similarly, I can be a christian, read and understand the Bible, and also read a book from a woman. I can do this because I know the Bible, which is the cornerstone for truth, and can relate everything I read back to what the Bible says. If something contradicts scripture, I know to throw that out. If it is in agreement with scripture, then I know that I can value it as accurate. In this particular case what I think would be of most benefit for men reading this book is to better know and understand the sins and temptations women face. That can help men better honor their mothers, love their wives, encourage sisters, and if they be in leadership, help to counsel women in their congregation.

@jackfrost2978Ай бұрын
Hard core calvinism is very disturbing to me. i have no problem with God the Father. Knowing everything about us before our existence. Placing us all on our paths, knowing the choices we will make. That part is easy. It is the ego/pride and the careless flippant treatment of Jesus sacrifice that i struggle with. The insistence on being predestined relegates our life to being little more than an afterthought, because you are already Gods favorite. It seems to ignore names being blotted out of the book of life. My struggle is has nothing to do with God or his capabilities. It is entirely with corrupting influence it has on our pride. It is also a potential salvation issue. In that people may deem themselves already saved. There by making Jesus's sacrifice a technicality, a formality. i'm sure there are answers given to these issues, within the community. But the dangers seem too great, and for what reward? What merit does calvinism bring that is worth the risks?
@JB-em9poАй бұрын
The only place in scripture I can think of to which you’re referring is Revelation 3:5. Which says that Christ will not blot out the names of those who persevere. It is strange to use a passage saying that Christ will NOT blot out names as a prooftext that he will blot out names (if that’s what you’re doing). Regardless, Christ says He will lose none of those given to Him. If you are Christ’s, you will not be lost. If you leave the faith and die hating the Father, you were never His. Take seriously the passages that speak about predestination and you being chosen before the foundation of the earth (Ephesians 1)
@jackfrost2978Ай бұрын
@@JB-em9po "The one who conquerors" Are the key words preceding not being blotted out. This is in no way even remotely pressing the text for meaning. Your trying to call out poor interpretation via your own omission. In regard to Christ not losing any given to him, from John 17: 12. You should read further. John 17: 20 is very important. (I do not ask for these only, but also for those who will believe in me through their word). While verse 12 is useable to make a case for predestination. By verse 20. We see that verse 12 only applies to the 11 disciples. In the that all following afterward must believe in Jesus through the scripture. The inclusion of Ephesians 1 was done in poor taste. As i had already stated that my concern was not in what the Bible says regarding predestination but in how people act regarding it. But, as long as you are going to bring up what you should have left alone. Let us look at it. We are chosen for adoption, by redemption through his blood. In this case predestined. Which is my greatest fear with those who overly focus on predestination. In that some will be so sure they were already saved. That they have no concern for Jesus. If predestination is so powerful of its own. There would be no need for Jesus's death, burial, and resurrection. Predestination is for the opportunity for salvation through Jesus.

Stay away from isms including Calvinism and just go to the Bible and read it with a humble heart. God reveals his purposes clearly if we humbly seek him. The sheer ridiculousness of being “preselected” and the millions buying this cool aid is staggering. But to each their own and no one is without excuse. God has given his word for us to read diligently and understand the truth. If people want to be deceived they are free to do so and face the consequences of it. Having said that, I have enjoyed some of Canon press’ videos because you don’t throw the baby out with the bath water. We can still agree on many things that can build us up in the Lord.

@@anugeorge As i learn. As i test my knowledge in discussions on various Biblical views. i found it important to me, not to adopt any groups theological belief system. Preferring the freedom to change and adjust my own thoughts as i continue to study, and to learn. Having challenging discussions is an important part of learning for me. It requires me to try to understand what the other person believes and to go through their best Bible verses. It requires a high amount of scrutiny and attention to detail. Very invigorating. All that said. One of my biggest worries. Is seeing all the schisms in belief and doctrine. Knowing most will be wrong in some way. Fearing for all the things that i am likely wrong about. While being overly confident that i am right. i consider all the people who have the Holy Spirit. Yet, still split into various groups and mindsets. Due to God letting the enemy test us. Similar to your statement. Don't get comfortable. Especially if you have not let your beliefs, get challenged. We need to look at the Bible as a whole. More than we do at few verses here and there. In those cases where a doctrine relies heavily on a small section of verses. Make sure you challenge the interpretation. Not to prove yourself right. But to find the truth.

The Screwtape Letters are free on-line. They are worth reading. I am delighted to hear that your patient’s age and profession make it possible, but by no means certain, that he will be called up for military service. We want him to be in the maximum uncertainty, so that his mind will be filled with contradictory pictures of the future, every one of which arouses hope or fear. There is nothing like suspense and anxiety for barricading a human’s mind against the Enemy. He wants men to be concerned with what they do; our business is to keep them thinking about what will happen to them. -excerpt Screwtape Letter VI
