I honestly laughed at your “libation.” I don’t like alcohol, liquor, etc in the slightest, and it definitely causes me to stand out in this generation at only 24. However, you enjoying something that God made for enjoyment is not a sin. Like everything, do so in moderation. Except for grace, of course. For in Christ it abounds. Honestly, what I’m most impressed with about this video is its clear stance on biblical stewardship. There are countless commandments regarding burnt offerings in the Old Testament, so to all those saying Doug is being unbiblical by burning his boat...good things belong to God, and the burnt offerings the Israelites offered to Him most certainly pleased him. Maybe he’ll burn down a home or a church building next. As far as the attitude of the video, it’s amazing to me how willing he is to do and say things without any care for what others have to say about it. I guess he’s right: we’ll see what happens when he continues to do what he does in a world that is so flammable. The emphasis on the people at Canon Press being normal, ordinary people was also a nice touch. I’m sure we all have that uncle we think is crazy but is really just your everyday baby-baptizing theonomist who wrote a book about a sex robot. Spurgeon was the same way, really. I honestly can’t think of a pastor I respect who claims to embody biblical Christian virtues the way Doug Wilson does. God bless you all! I pray that you’ll live with biblical convictions and stand firm in what you know about Christ.

Hey all you judgemental stone throwers (even the ones thinking themselves backhandidly sly), you are the fish he caught with your big mouths. He obviously jokingly swigged the Bootkah, didn't do so well lighting a cigar with a sock laden with alcohol, and to all those who don't even have human eyes (vodka would not light up a fiberglass boat like that. If anyone had enjoyed a drink before as the Savior turned water into wine, you'd know you can soak a $1 Bill in vodka or your hand and it burns wispy blue without enough heat to incinerate), how will you ever gain spiritual eyes.
