Hi Canon! Any news about that compact VR180 / VR360 camera presented in June in Japan? When it might launch for example? I suggest that it would be conceived in a shape that would make it compatible with smartphone gimbals in VR180 mode, like some of the compact VR180 cameras that were launched a few years back

RAW Photos - Does the Canon VR Utility slow you to convert RAW images to equirec? I've only been able to make it work with the JPEG files even though it works with raw video... looks here like you might be using it on RAW Photos...

Hi Mike, Thanks for the question. When using the EOS VR Utility or EOS VR Plugin for Adobe Premiere Pro software, only JPEG images can be converted to equirectangular images. @@CanonUSA thank you for the response! at least now I know I'm not just being stupid and doing something wrong. why does the utilities support raw video but not raw photos? any possibility it will support raw images in the future? I hope so! Thank you.
