I think that is awesome you're catching and releasing, I know it's also good to catch your own food but sometimes it good to show responsibility too and if you have fish to eat already its better for the fish to release if healthy. man they're certainly not perfect but best normal sneaker we have found. Im not a huge fan of wearing the spike style boots because they fill with water and are heavy. So yeah volleys are not a bad shoe. Just have to give them a go I guess brother.

Looks like the Z-man Headlock jig head. I use those here on the emerald coast and slay tarpon, mahi, cobia, Tuna, Jack's, flounder, EVERYTHING from HUGE to small, pelagic to bottom dwellers when paired with the right soft bait (usually a fluke or eel). Best jig head I have yet to find. Unparalleled action. Made in New Zealand too, I believe.
