@@ukaykeys got deported from Copenhagen DK more comic than tragic!, because I was 6 yrs past my visa but wouldn't change a thing! In Copenhagen I had so much synchronicity come my way! So have been back in the US for a year now. I have been playing though just as much with a little help from my old friends and so it goes. But I was in Europe for over 20 yrs. So after the divorce I just didn't want to just return to the US so spent 6 yrs happily living in a cozy camper in Valby Bird Sanctuary 🙂 long story playing both regular gigs till COVID then happily busking in Train Stations! Man there were times I was the only working jazz pianist in KBH. Anyway Ja alles Klar danke🙋

ukaykeys Yeah I just realized you do a lot of his works.. I just heard the resemblance. I'm working on site reading which is just reading music..I am working on a video on a booklet called two hand five note sight reading by Michael Kravchuck. Free pdf download 354 pages. it has helped me tremendously. I'm just passing on this great book.. It starts out out slow but it gets advanced. A child can do it though.. I mainly work with beginners. I will be stopping in every so often.. Tonite I will be finishing up an armoire conversion.

ukaykeys yes little things sometimes lead to something big.. the strength of that book is that it only uses 3 or less octaves and is progressively difficult at times. Have you found it? have produced the first 8 lessons..I need to edit them.I tell people to download the Pdf and less than 1/2 will download and of course they switch the video off. Which is their loss because it really has helped me. Here is insight into why people have trouble reading music. First the every good boy should be taught to adults with understanding that it is a crutch.Crutches are temporary. Unfortunately I read music on and off with these ..esp bad on the good boys do fine always..Left hand which in jazz is full of chords And those are all chords. 13ths #9 etc. So you see an email min 7 b5 or a C9 depending on your bass. The struggling learner thinks every good boy flat does..that takes about a minute to decide this.. The teacher may not even realize this..When people say they read music, I tell them are stopping anywhere in the score. I've been there, I was equivalent to primary school learner what phonetical spells out words. This is not popular, but it the truth. Forget about sight reading, which means first time over..Reading is reading. I say the notes in which succession and I don't deal with piano first.. remember I am recovering from doing this for many years.. Also I try to visualize the right octaves.. most keyboards only C2 though C6. So I try to identify where I am before I play.. The 354 excercises eliminate that.. just some thoughts...Thanks so much for writing back. I know a lot of people would be helped with Michael's book..I am going over the 354 excercises.. it will take a long time. I think Mike and you may make a strong collaboration.
