Why not use the zip lock as the trash bag for the tails of the shrimp , Pack it in , Pack it out. I have to try this next time camping as the 1st night's meal , it sounds and looks good. One modification will be made. Prep everything and put in zip locks. In camp brown the sausage , spices in the olive oil. When it is done add the water and rice and cook it. The last 5 minutes of cooking add the shrimp since they cook really quick.

I picked all of them up. I just didn't think about it while filming. I also often pick up other people's trash as well. Thanks for the support!

Thanks for helping to clean others messes. The guys I go with either together of separate always return with more trash ( way to much ) then we started with.

Hey. If noone has brought it to your attention, here's something to think about. If you are making this again, try changing the cooking order. Throw in the sausage first while the canteen is still heating up to render some of the fat out of it, use that spiced fat to fry the shrimp in, then do your rice and spice mix, so it gets all the flavors while it boils, and when it gets close to finishing, throw the shrimp and sausage back in so they get reheated. Binging your videos now, and great work.

Hi and a very nice meal you made. I have been trying to learn more about cooking with a fuel source of Sterno. If you can recall, about how long does it take to get the water hot enough to boil water for to start cooking rice or boiling water to make tea? Thanks for the video
@CALIZONAOUTDOORS6 жыл бұрын
Hey there Sterno Fuel is convenient but it takes a little bit longer. I'd say right around 12 to 15 minutes to achieve a boil. Thanks for the support!
