To me dance teams are supposed to be less girly so they stand appart from cheerleaders, i dont think they should br pop songs because dance teams arent music videos. In my opinion, damce teams need to be fast and heart pumping, not girly.

Miller Milizalock dance is completely different from cheer lol it would be hard to get them mixed up unless a school uses extremely similar uniforms or unless it’s poms rather than actual dance.

Miller Blaylock what do you mean by heart pumping? Most dance team use jazz, which is extremely girly, or even in the south there are drill teams that mix in elements of jazz (leaps, turns, kicks) and sharper cheer-ish? Moves (with the formation and transitions)
