Good video man, my buddies and I were in the other star craft at the ramp.

Another great video Rich. I love fishing in The ESVA. You can fish seaside or bay side for a wide variety of fish. Your videos are very educational and fun to watch. Great job.

Any suggestions on where to stay for a couple days? I’m traveling from Beaufort, SC. I guess Airbnb is best so I can also cook. Never remember many places to eat there in my travels. I’m coming up next sept for flounder fishing. Thanks, alex
@flipnfins30223 күн бұрын
@@alexstamateris5977 there are a couple off hotels near The Sea Hawk sports Center, it’s kinda close to there I’m not too much of an expert on that stuff for that area.

Always wanted to take my Scout Costa there to fish. Do you like the spring or fall for flounder, and where do you like to launch? Thanks! Flounder don’t exist in Beaufort, SC like they do up north. I used to fish the back of Cape May, Avalon, and Stone Harbor for flounder. I miss it. Maybe next year I run north again with my boat. 👍

@@alexstamateris5977 both, it’s seems to be good before and after the height of each season. Kiptopeke state park has boat ramp right there, that’s where I drop in.

@@flipnfins302 I’m doing it next sept. I troll for flounder with four rods, into the current. It’s very effective. I can go down one side of the ships, and back again………

@@alexstamateris5977 I was going to go for that show that day, but it got pretty late. I also saw other boats catching them drifting.

The channel will grow even faster with a better mic :). But all the information is great some times hard to hear because of the background noise. And did a hear right that you had a 10lb braid on the gear 😱

I see alot of Tog and sheepshead jigs for sale on ebay and Amazon. Some of the sellers are out of florida and NC. Is there a difference in these jigs and then ones used in Delaware bay? I dont want to buy them and they are not as effective for our area
@flipnfins3028 күн бұрын
@@Hev2500hd everyone makes them, I haven’t bought online yet though. I have always got um in a bait shop. As long they look similar I think they are mostly the same.

Nice catches! I'm thinking about going to Kiptopeake the week after next. My boat is quite small. Do those ships provide any sort of wind break?
@flipnfins302Ай бұрын
@@matthewwhite3444 I’m sure they do, you just need the wind to blow the right direction so you can get there from the ramp!
