I would have had to open the sandwich box and unwrap it before I would have been able to tell they left something off. I would rather just get it like I get it then have something to complain about to you all.

Mistakes happen. Remember they are most likely putting together multiple orders for other people. Getting angry over a food order isn’t worth it

You are so generous… most people would have been a lot more irritated with the mistakes especially after waiting so long for “fast food”… maybe someone from captain ds will see this… truly, for $17 you should get better quality

WOW!! I haven't heard of Captain D's in so long. All of ours here closed long ago, as well as all our Long John Silvers. We have a couple local chains called JJ's Fish & Chicken and Shark's Fish & Chicken. I haven't been to either, but I think a visit is long over-due. The fish place I miss most is Arthur Treacher's Fish & Chips. I loved that place. Thank you Kevin.

My brother worked at Arthur teachers when he was in college… he would bring home all the leftover rotisserie chickens at the end of his shift… they were allowed to take what didn’t sell… he would bring home like 5-6 a night… he could eat 2 by himself… lol

About a 100 years ago for my first job I worked at a fast-food place called Druther's. They sold a bit of everything. Burgers, fried chicken, fried fish, had a salad bar. I don't think there are too many places around that do all that.

When you were talking about the powdered sugar it reminded me of a challenge… the challenge is to eat an entire (regular sized) powdered sugar donut without licking your lips… it almost impossible… I’d love to see you and Tami attempt it. 😀😀😀

i like captain d's a lot. the batter fried fish satisfies an itch i get a few times a year and the hush puppies there are better than any high priced seafood restaurant i've ever been in.

If you cut a baked potato in a ziz-zag pattern, rather than a straight line, the toppings tend to fill the potato better.

I probably would have gone inside the restaurant to get my lettuce and tarter sauce . This is why I don’t do drive through and I check my order before leaving the restaurant counter

FYI.... Captain D's always take a long time because they cook the Fish and all seafood fresh. If they precooked and got you all in and out, you would be complaining about that also.

If you use a decent potato and don't overdo (or undo) it - it should be great even without toppings (and I am not even a potato person). It is really actually hard to screw up a potato! This order was a complete disaster from beginning to end! I am sorry you had such a bad experience. I have ordered through GH+ or DoorDash and usually have pretty good experiences with my Captain D's. They should be better than that. They have no excuses for this kind of incompetency. I don't care how little or much they get paid or how busy or not they are or whatever their problems are. What a bleep show!

I haven’t been to Captain D’s since childhood. What a drive thru and order experience! 🤪 The Funnel cakes at the fair are the best or at least our fair! Thanks Kevin for a great review.

I love the funnel cakes at pretty much anywhere. Just the cake with powered sugar. I never liked the fruit topped ones. Seems kind of sacrilegious.
