@@master_chief723 collecting those trinkets, giving them to Peg Leg and then after you’ve given him enough he’ll give you a letter that leads to a Captain Kidd map. There are 24 trinkets all together. If you need help finding them then you can buy a map from the general store. Peg Leg is located on the beach, next to the Aquila. You go to the dock and speak to Mr Faulkner after you’ve gotten a letter from Peg Leg The Captain Kidd mission Icon is a chalice. There are 5 Captain Kidd missions in total Your reward is a precursor ring that deflects billets. So when guards shoot at you, they won’t hit you. It doesn’t work 100% of the time though, otherwise everyone would complain that it’s “too OP” or some stupid shit like that. But it’s still very helpful

I found this song annoying...until Kidd died. Then I kept cycling through the shanties to find it because FUCK. My heart hurt. I also went on a killing spree after that. They made me drop her when I was trying to run and I went ape shit and slaughtered all of them. I pretty much said 'Screw stealth!' after that.

the song isn't referring to Mary, it's referring to the real Cpt. (William) Kidd who was publicly executed in 1701, 20 years prior to Mary Read's death

Later she reveals her secret to Edward, i don't remember well what was written in the characters datas but it says she was raised by her mother and she made her clothing like a man, she learned how to act like one and got on a ship when she was a teenager. Is she W.K's daughter ? But she is also Mary Read, that is complicated 😂
