For the third room, as a last minute resort, you can try running into the unstable abyss space and hope the Tessellas die before you. And if there is a short range auto suppressing tower, then it would be your lucky day!

New EVE player, been giving your channel lots of likes. Good video, but I don't understand why I should want to delete skills? Once your character trains a skill, what is the advantage of getting rid of it/removing it with skill extractors?

There isn't, necessarily. Skill Extractors have a few uses: Imagine you've trained into mining, you have loads of mining skills at high tier and then decide that mining bores the heck out of you and you really want to try combat. If the combat skills are going to take another 30d of training, you could instead extract the skills you no longer want to give yourself a headstart on the skills you do want. It does come at a cost though. Also, some folks cap out on the skills they want. If you're only interested in flying Kestrels, and you have all the frigate, missile, shield and navigation skills you want maxed, all your other SP are wasted... You can extract the excess and sell the Injectors on the market for a lot of ISK.

@@captainbenzie thanks for the reply. Regarding drones. You mentioned in another video that you don't recommend using drones for exploration. I like your strategy to fit the ship for quick getaways, and think it makes a lot of sense, but wondered about the cost argument you raised in relation to drone use. I don't have the skill to use drones yet, so my first question would be can you deploy them for protection while your busy hacking/salvaging ect...? I ask because I'm wondering if using drones wouldn't help the quick getaway strategy? If the total cost of the ship is 250Mil, then wouldn't losing 300K worth of drones to slow an intruder down while you make the quick getaway be worth it?

I feel you on this one. I was in a Calm the other day with my Caracal and suddenly my missile launchers stopped firing. I had forgotten to reload my missiles. So I had to just sit there with no primary weapons and after a while my drones just didn't make it so I was weaponless Nothing I could do because my tank was better than the remaining enemies, but since I couldn't kill them I couldn't progress.

most of my deaths in abyssal deadspace are from disconnects, but one time i was in my catalyst and brought only one kind of ammo and couldnt track a triglavian frig

The greatest aspect of this video is the on the fly problem solving. The result was inevitable however an attempt was made. I wouldn't be able to watch your live streams due to time zone differences, but I'd enjoy the VODs if you left them up.
