Went to the FlyRC site. Led me to a "Discount" wheel for additional discount. The wheels and offers were not concentric and kept orbiting off screen. Gave me a discount code with no indication what the discount might be. Issues with trying to order, no button to put in the cart. I am using a very old iPad, but I get your videos without problems. I have not flown planes or helicopters for years. Broke my neck three times with two unsuccessful surgeries leaving my hands with palsy and minimal paralysis. I do fly a DJI drone. Took five months from last spring to this fall to get it out of the pond by the gate, but got it replaced under Refresh. Got the MINI Fly More Kit for $200 from the club president when he wanted to upgrade to a MINI 2 while his wife was out of town! Good little drone as long as the wind stays below 12 mph and you don't want high quality night photos. The plane looks durable with all the nose overs and ground loops in the wind. Standard 3.7 volt LiPo battery? Thank you for the review. Radiation later this morning and more issues. I start each weekday morning with radiation at 9:50 AM, some fun with a broken lower back. My body does not feel normal if something is not broken or bleeding. Quite an accomplishment for someone who is homebound, but I was a helicopter pilot, LOL. By definition, that is crazy! Love the Captain Drone stickers. The holographic is on my wheelchair/cart and show well in any light! I will give the other out at the senior's club meeting. Thank you. Looks cold while we had 82 F for Christmas and 80 F today. Dropping to the twenties at night and forties during the day this next Sunday. Texas does have large temperature and wind swings. Hope you had a Wonderful Christmas!

Nice little plane, would suggest putting the camera between the landing gear on the bottom as a the top the camera would cause turbulence in the airflow over the wing up to 2 inches each side of the camera, reducing lift and control

they look better and have more power usually, there is one stol plane i know of that has unlimited climb, it becomes the helicopter, and it’s smaller and less expensive, it’s the only other option unless you wanna drop 4-$500 on a bigger plane or $150 on something smaller, i hate the sound of the small planes so much the bigger ones sounds good , all just budget really

One key return on non gps planes means it does a 180 degree turn from the original take off direction. Not really GPS type RTH. If you want to loose your very light plane don't forget to fly it on a real windy day.... LOL Saw that you figured out the RTH near the end of the video...;-)

Currently prices have all risen so cost of living is more. Many services are free or subsidized in Canada which is paid for by taxation, so the only complaint most citizens have is paying tax.

That's awesome. Are the wings strong or do you think reinforcing the wings with some type of other light but strong material so if you do bump the wings you won't have broken up styrofoam? Clear tape for example.
@CAPTAINDRONE7983 жыл бұрын
They are strong. I think you’d have to crash wing tip first at full speed into concrete to damage them. Clear lift tape would help with dings.

Looks like PA-18 is a good flyer for newbies. It is durable, have stiff wings and is stable in flight. It is recommended for beginners as I am not gonna fly this thing with 5 mins battery life after getting uses to DJI drones. Bought many brandless 380 mAh battery drones when I was a newbie, and didn't had experience. As a result they all broke as they were obviiusly crap! The flights in this video were impressive in windy conditions. I want to know if this one will last long like DJI/Traxxas vehicles or, will broke down after some more flights! (Definitely, without any crashes. Lol) Its also a bit surprising that Insta 360 cameras which are so tiny costs more than these planes...

This plane appears to be another re-brand in the "Eachine" Mini Wing Dragon/Mini Cessna/Mini P-47 Razorback series. Perhaps this "up-graded" unit with the clip-on wings and struts plus the pop-off prop will also have the brushed motor "up-graded" from the 1 on those planes which was being run in the reverse direction to that which it was designed for - leading to high battery voltage drain and overheating motors with very short lives? Could anyone who buys 1 of these be so kind as to post their experiences here and on the RC Groups Forums thread on this plane?
@CAPTAINDRONE7983 жыл бұрын
I think you are missing where this plane comes from. FMS makes the very popular PA-18 Super Cup (over a meter in size), do a search and it will pop up quickly in your search. This is the smaller version of that plane.
@theoztreecrasher26473 жыл бұрын
@@CAPTAINDRONE798 Sorry Steve, it is quite obvious that it is yourself who is "missing the point"! I am well aware of the excellent FMS 1700mm PA-18. However this little toy has about as much to do with FMS as the Tello has to a DJI Inspire2! Perhaps this plane has had a major refit to fix the faults in the others in the OEM's series before FMS decided to allow their logo to be slapped on it (it does sometimes happen!) but pushing it out to your regular subscribers without checking whether this has actually been done wasn't the best move. You could end up with as many disgruntled punters as when you endorsed that now generally universally acknowledged POS the XK A160!
