I think there's a good chance that flameheart is european but has a ton of asian designs to probably honer his wife, because his son is asian we know that, we see his face in the comics, but we also see non skeletal flameheart and he's definently not asian there, but yeah, flameheart's stuff has always been asian themed, or at least the burning blade rleated things, ashen lords n whatnot

I'm more afraid of the massive angles it can cover with its cannons. Size just makes you a bigger target, and makes attrition an easier tactic. It's the maneuverability and angles that really count in a fight.

Also two ashen lords are already using asian stuff in their outfits. Captain Grimm has asian styled jacked and Warden Chi is propably completely asian xD. I also want to say that it would be cool idea if Flamehart was now company speaker, but his son would later help us to take him down for the real pirate freedom. Maybe he could became disillusioned by his father and he would get his post back again after that.

I like the idea of Flameheart's tyrannical lust for power actually being at odds with the true-anarchist origins of the Reapers. Anarchists can't have a leader giving orders, it kinda defeats the point of freedom... Very interesting if it starts a Reaper civil war

You can just about make out the rim of the giant wooden reaper mask behind Flamehearts throne, but whether it's intact or not is another matter. In another note, a lot of if not most of his lutenants seem to be from asia too given their names. Flameheart is said to have traveled the world, so there's entirely the possibility that he has been to china and picked up some crew there and just decided he liked the aesthetic. Chinese pirates at the time were quite notorious as well so it wouldn't be impossible that he took some inspiration from them.

I have a theory about the orb of secrets : The Orb was found by that bilge rat and given to the order of souls during the Cursed sails/forsaken shores teaser trailer. Then something happened, perhaps the order and their secrets being secretly incompetent or just finding no more use for the orb, but the orb fell in lesser knowing hands who just saw a never ending glowy light perfect to make a christmas decoration. Thus the orb and all of its knowledge got reduced to a snowglobe, teasing its wrath toward foolish and ignorant pirates of the sea of thieves. So when the reapers raided Ancient Spire to recover this artifact, the orb would actually feel aknowledged for what it is and decide to pledge allegiance to Flameheart as every King needs his oracle. I kinda like this idea cause it gives the orbs good motives to dislike pirates of the sea of thieves.

Flameheart is the Pirate Lord. The Pirate Lords name is Ramsay Singh. Singh is both an Asian name and it means Lion. Lions are associated with courage and FIRE. To say you have the HEART of a lion it means you are brave. Lions are also associated with ROYALTY. Flamehearts ship is of asian design, Flameheart is royalty to the skeletons, his name is literally Fire and Heart. Ramsay Singh's old ship has a figurehead of a white tiger, tigers are normally orange and black, the colors of Flameheart. One ghostly and pale, One fiery and dark. They are two sides of the same coin. "But but but they have interacted with eachother, they exist at the same time, they can't be the same person?" You might ask, well, remember how Rare has told us since the beginning that both the Sea of the Damned and Sea of Thieves are both very strange places where time doesn't really exist. Where manifestations of memories false and real from the past can exist. Both their precursor stories, is the same story, it's the same person, but it's been chopped up between the two, and blended through the timey-wimey troubles of time travel. We're in at least the second or third timeline, affected by changes Flameheart did by going back in time and interacting with himself and his own family. Meaning he can be both Flameheart, The Pirate Lord and the Cap'n all at once.

If memory serves, those loyal to flameheart also get a Skeleton crew to help man the Burning Blade as well. Also.... man what is it with RARE and USELESS PORTHOLES!!!! A ship THAT BIG would have 3 Gun Decks counting the top deck! Heck the Galleon should have at least 2 gun decks given how many decks it has. What else are those Portholes for besides window dressing? Far as i know you can't open them or anything to dump water out.

Agreed on the music choice, it sounded a little out off. Not a fan of Flame Heart popping out of his coffin like Michael Jackson but I think the swag would have been different with another tune darker as you say. Thank you for point it out. To me it felt more like a PS sport game release than a pirate game update, but it's good we're finally getting this character around.

This will never happen but i somehow hope with this we can get Rep for Servant of the Flame. I think that HG is ok but to grind it can be annoying and with this it could add a bit more varied with the Servant grind. But even if this is not the case it will be awesome to sail with this ship.

Absolutely agree on the teaser music!! It felt like a cheesy Call of Duty trailer, or the final trailer for a movie to try and bring in generic audiences when the previous trailers have been more appropriate to the movie's style (looking at you, Civil War)... I imagine the trailer was primed to draw in brand new PS5 players tbh. But yeah i noted and hated the music in it too.

Awesome in concept but, I'm calling it now, it's going to be real annoying for anybody that isn't controlling it and even more so if it's a full crew that's well organized. I give it a month before people just choose to scuttle at the sight of this thing barreling towards them.
