UPDATE: Here is Window To Wildlife's Video by Connor of the actual removal of the electrical string! kzbin.info/www/bejne/e4HapKVnYph8fLs Thank you so much Connor for such a fantastic job of removing the electrical string! I made an extra donation to WTW and also to CROW for the excellent work you both do to remove a very dangerous hazard in this nest!! Your fast action with the lift and with CROW was so appreciated! Thank you Joshua Tree Service for donating the lift to help out - giving them 5 stars!! You can see from the video how MUCH of that string was actually there when the lady was removing it!! Thank you all again - you ROCK! 🐥🐥🦅💞

What was so secret about removing it? Glad the job was done and the eaglets are safe.
@ladyhawk2 күн бұрын
Hi 16MedicRN apparrently CROW asked WTW to turn off the livestream during the string removal. WTW did record it and will put out a video once it gets approved. Perhaps they were concerned of an accident happening and they did not want that on a livestream. It brings to mind one incidence I saw back a few years ago at West End Catalina nest when Dr Sharpe removed an eaglet for banding and it died in his arms. There was a lot of blowback from the eagle community that blamed him for the death of the eaglet. A necropsy showed a congenital heart defect in the eaglet.
