I've built cars for the last 35 years. I have built about any kind of classic car you can imagine.. there is some winners and a lot of losers in this game I will be the first to tell you you can put $75,000 into that car to build it correctly and have a $20,000 car real easy to do people. I see it all the time .. a lot of these cars are in that junkyard for a reason

Someone should explain to the yard that brake drums and rotors are worth more per ton then the crushed vehicles bring per ton. I see them leaving them on the vehicles. I dont understand this.

I imagine they leave the drums and rotors on cars because it would take some time to remove all 4 on each vehicle ,and they don't want to spend much time get each car ready for the crusher ,I am guessing

I'm surprised they don't make station wagon's that much anymore
@Afroman292 жыл бұрын
Minivans replaced station wagons in the mid to late '80s and early '90s, then SUVs came around. That's why they don't build station wagons any more.

1st car, something of the by gone era of usa cars, love the baby blue colour but its been picked clean of parts, shame on the wiondow though those cruved screens are very pricey, 2nd car some 80's or early 90's suv/offroader, looks to be just as rusty as anything else 4x4 related, 3rd car something late 70's with that stripy gold decal on the side but yessh rusted out bad on the arches so yeah late 70's maybe early 80's, 4th car hmm a toyota as hubcap, i'm guessing a 80's rusty thing so suv scoocar mom car? or just a wagon van? 5th car i'mm going to say 90's ford probe? as it looks like that, plus we had that front end ish look for the scopio which was just a sirrera with the ghia or upper market body soon get renamed to the mk3 granda, but yeah i'm going to say 90's ford probe, yeah that err something important to a car looks to be a diff for going off road or the low rage gear box but yeah that's not good,

How could you crush that thing, even if it's rusty and incomplete? '59s can fetch over $100,000 so anything salvageable will be worth more than parts from most other years.
