Gran Turismo 5 (or 6?) had custom wings that you could select the material, shape, and height from like 9 different wing shapes. It's not a purpose built one like hill climb aero, but it does add a ton of variety simply.

The most simple customization option we never had in horizon series: REAR WING DELETE. I know some cars have this option by “manufacturer”. However I think many cars should have this option as standard like gt2 rs.

@@DaSpecialZak I’d like to think, this is because they’re waiting until next game.. but this would be false as, I.e Toyo Tire has been a brand logo available in the decals since FH1 - I almost feel like it’s because they know, not a single person would then use horizon tyre writing which believe it or not, is free advertising.. put those on your car, take a really high quality image and post it somewhere.. it could also be because they have never changed the tyre textures, they’ve added the tyre profile option to a few cars which would allow for those thicker texts.. In reality we have no idea, if only the developers were up front and didn’t just blow smoke up our 🫏

One thing I'd definitely like to see is the option to change the sound of turbos and superchargers..technically you're able to do that in the game, but a lot of times, the best option is the most generic sounding one. Maybe sometimes the car untouched has a better turbo sound than it's race package. So maybe, record a variety of different turbo spool and flutter sounds as well as supercharger whines for the next game, that way we can change them like how we change our horns...we could also mute the sounds as well, or make them louder

For me, it's cars that have visible spare tyres where the rims don't change if you choose a new rim style for the other four. Mostly affects classic cars and some rally cars with the roof tyre. I also hate that when you paint a car, any decals or features of the original design are lost, such as racing stripes or side panel wording. Also, cars that look like they should have two-tone paint-jobs (different paint groups), but don't.

No, we haven’t remodeled any cars, there are 120009947253 bugs at launch, and the Silvia s15 still looks awful. There are going to be 2 cars in the car pack, a Lamborghini huracan, and a dodge charger. The car pack will cost $137.99 and the other dlcs include a 500 meter square box and a build mode that we totally haven’t done before. These all come with the premium edition which comes out to a total of $12,316.82! Not to mention the fact that we built this whole game from the ground up, using all of the code from Forza Motorsport 5! Oh yeah, and unfortunately, Mazda decided to not be in our game. Anyway, be ready for December 31st 2198!!!

Something like being able to change tire compounds for front or rear would be nice. For example we could upgrade a Dodge Demon with fat drag tires in the rear but skinny stock tires in the front for a little more grip.

This is a huge stretch but I really wish for interior customization. Things like gutting a car, changing the seats, roll cage design, steering wheel, a hydro e brake, etc. I do a lot of first person drifting with a sim wheel and unless you use one of the Formula Drift cars, it just feels weird.

I think PGG needs to redesign Forza customization entirely so that the developers have more creative freedom when it comes to making stuff like rear Aeros, front bumper options, and wide body kits for the vehicles so we have stuff like the 2010 Chevrolet Camaro SS having various customization options (including emergency/ police car customization, race car customization that makes it look similar to the custom 11 Camaro from hot wheels, drag car customization that makes look like the custom 10 Camaro SS drag car from hot wheels, along with 1 or 2 in house wide body kits, and the ability to mix and match most of the visual customization options), more of a mix of licensed and in house customization options for various JDM cars, and more body kits options that are like the wide body for the Wuling Sunshine in FH5, and the wide body, rear wing, and rear bumper options (including the options to remove the rear bumper and rear bumper option that goes along with the wide body kit) for the 2015 Subaru WRX STI in the recent Forza Motorsport title

Personal opinion if the developers have licensing for Toyota cars for example then by default. They have licensing for TRD customization, considering it’s officially licensed by Toyota. And the same goes with every other type of car customization that’s officially licensed by the brand Ford and SVT Nissan and nismo and things like that

@@nickosmond unfortunately it doesn’t make sense 🙂‍↔️ They have to request individual cars even with the license to those brands.. I’d imagine, the more they want - the more they pay. Not only in money but in time.. both of which they have plenty of. This would cut into their profits. The latter isn’t affecting the profits.. the lack of these options is very frustrating, annoying and confusing.. but ima still put 100’s of hours in 👀 therefore, they can drip feed us bs and we’ll still play.. they can ignore requests and be lazy.. I won’t lie, the devs definitely put in work and have made a game series that’s been active for more than 20 years.. it doesn’t change the fact they’ve lacked in places, big places and quite frankly don’t care 😂 - a select few cared which is why I believe they lost a lot of the dev team when Mike Brown left.. he’s now claiming to be working on an open world racing/car game - perhaps they’ll pick up that slack. There’s a chance they have requested some of these items but have been declined.. that, I suppose is fair enough.. if this was the case - TELL US!

I’m very passionate about this, being a forza vet since day one (FMS1).. another thing they need to add is more stance-ability… lower and wider fitment - this would of course take time with over 800 cars, if they had started this a year ago.. it’d be done already, even if they have to drip feed which cars get these abilities.. once it’s done, it’s done. Player made decals should have an option to add an outline at no additional decal limit cost. Or at least very little cost. Tyre writing.. Toyo etc. Removable parts.. Engine models change with engine swap, if it wouldn’t physically fit.. don’t give it that option Unfortunately my phones dying but I could add so, so much more!

The problem is that they've been building off the existing systems for years. To make any significant changes would require setting things up for every individual car. Another problem caused by having such a large outdated car list. Window decals need UV unwrapped windows for each car. Forza aero updates would need new positions to be defined to attach the wing to each car. Even realistic working mirrors would need each car mesh to be edited so the mirrors are perfectly flat and angled correctly.

Around a fortnight ago a man noticed me looking at a Nissan GTR parked down the road and asked me if I wanted to see his car he showed it to me and said it was a GR Yaris but I had never heard of it and thought he was making a big deal out of a car that had kind of under whelming performance for its price but two days later i saw it was getting added to forza and actually has good customisation and was unbelievably surprised 😂

Hello Eric, I’ve noticed something that you might want to know about the 2 driving modes on the new GR Yaris, the Sport mode adjusts the differential so that you get a lot of acceleration power in the rear wheels, and the track mode sort of reduces the acceleration power a bit, probably for better handling on the track. The springs and dampings however, stay the same no matter what mode you are in. Keep up the good work :)

Here’s some things I think we need in forza not listed in the video 1. Air Ride suspension 2. Being able to make the lip/ barrel/ dish of a wheel deeper 3. Changing colors of the headlights/ tail lights 4. Tinting headlights/ tail lights 5. Ability to remove bumpers if possible 6. Custom taillights/ headlights 7. Lift kits 8. Something that I think would be great, is interior customization. At least like NFS Shift, Shift 2, with packages with seats , sterring wheel , gages etc. Or at least change interior colors. And of course we need more companies for bodykots and individual exterior parts. Can't believa that we still haven't gotten the Steet Hunter bodykit for the new supra mk5, but we have it on the formula drift supra mk5

Good points. As far as i know gt7 is the only racing game where the exhaust changes visually when you upgrade it amazing attention to detail. It can be done, gt7 still have this options for like +300 cars window stickers, customizable wings etc.

What I really like to see, and I've posted it already on the suggestionshub, is Facelift bodykits, like for the second generation of eclipse, they have put only the 1995 version of it while most of us like the Facelift model. And with the limited amount of customization it is so bad. I owned one myself so, and in other racing games such as need for speed and the crew they do have or the right version or nice customization options. And that goes for so much more Facelift cars

When trying to create Forza versions of real life race cars having different wheels and tyres on the front to the rear and fitting window strips you can add logos and decals to would be top priorities. Being able to paint and add decals over bumpers and headlights would be another.

the reason why we never saw mismatched aftermarket wheels in Forza is because even the newest titles have upgrade systems that work identically to the one in the first Forza Motorsport from 2005, and neither PG nor T10 want to replace it

I'd love to be able to create a more "race-ready" interior like Import Tuner Challenge and Midnight Club LA let you do. Replace the default seats with bucket seats from Recaro, Cobra, Sparco, etc; add custom gauges, add a lighter, purpose built steering wheel from MOMO, MPI, Sparco, etc; add a 5 point harness from Takata, Sabelt, or another company, and an ability to remove any of the passenger seats. They could even go further by letting you replace the factory gauges and dashboard with a digital dash from brands like MOTEC or Auto Meter. Maybe you could add racing switches and shift knobs to the car's interior too; perhaps even change shift mechanisms for certain cars (give H pattern cars sequential or paddle shifters). Basically, I'd love for any future racing games to let you make an interior like the ones in the Formula Drift cars.

I just want them to clean up how you paint a car. I wish you didn't have to do it one body panel at a time. It would be much easier to execute some ideas I have had if I could put one large decal across the whole car. Also I have noticed the cars are often not exactly symmetrical, like if I put a decal on one side then mirror it will be a few degrees off. I have found some cars impossible to symmetrically paint. It gets annoying and has just discouraged me from attemping to do anything complex, or creative.

Totally agree actually on the forza Areo I think they should add more choices instead of get rid of or fix the dynamics to the stats would be cool. Hope a De-tomaso Pantera and other brands or adding to the lacking brands get more, for sure Pantera GT5-S from 1987 but why not give us the Deville and Magusta, Velunga, Longchamp aswell as S1 or Si from 90s and Guara from 2003 and P72 and P800 would be cool and there 2 engine types V12 on prototype P72 and there V8.

There’s so many cars in FH5 that sound unique (and pretty good) stock, but once you upgrade the exhaust they all sound the same. And ffs anti-lag turbos needs to be better looking/sounding.

I'd love to see customizable interiors and I don't necessarily mean aftermarket parts but simply like in TDU real world options and specs. But honestly I've given up on that at this point.

In fact I believe that the progression system of Motorsports sports, RPG Style maybe could work for the next Forza Horizon in fact is more that type of game rather than Motorsport but talking about the video, I'm agree we need more customization not only body kits.

Give us the ability to add or change the writing on tires especially for drift and drag tires also give us the ability to change the wheel size from very small to large so many cars in the game come with large wheels sizes with no ability to make them smaller also give us the ability to customize the sound of the engine/exhaust without affecting the vehicles performance also give us the ability to change where the exhaust comes out of the car like the hood or the front side quarter panel ect.. I could list off waaaay more ideas but I'm not trying to write a book here lol

I do think they are experimenting with spoilers because I think there was a car they recently added with one or two apr wings. It might have been one of the new mustangs but I dont remember.

I’m suprized you didn’t mention interior customisation like for example with the weight reduction you wanna actually all of the spare seats and etc all stripped out from the inside of the car. But I suppose to do that the cars would have to be remodeled.

OEM wheels: All car brands can be changed all different rims. Police Car Customization: Can be placed in all cars. New customization: Underglow, color tire smoke, headlight color and interior customization.

All cars should have spacer options to add offset for flush look, the forza lip shouldn’t have a tow hook by default, it should be optional since bodykits seem to be scarce, rim size options should be available on all cars.

being able to gut interiors fully and change seats and steering wheels should have been in the game a long time ago. as well as more in depth wheel and tire size customization, but hey I honestly wouldn't be surprised if they just completely disregarded all of this and put more EVs in the game lol

I think a big factor in these choices of NOT giving us this is because of vehicle licensing and the cost not to mention even how some manufacturers (looking at you Ferrari) have issue with vehicle modifications. It probably costs too much to do all of this. But at the same time youd think being in Microsofts pocket thered be more in the game than there is.
