I definitely appreciated this show. I love how great minds can come together and not only share their knowledge to others, but help each other grow. I feel like we are always life long apprentices and should always be learning. Thank you Erika and Anthony!

Erika & AO, This was by far one of my favorite episodes. The pair of you mesh like you were childhood neighbors and best friends (maybe it's because you were both military brats). As a USMC brat & USAF retiree, I found that the info in this podcast provided several gems that I will use as I embark on my second career.

I’d like remind everyone that in order to negotiate you have to be in a position to negotiate. These people have 6 figures and their sellers know it. If you’ve only got 2 Pennys people are much less accommodating.
@rjansen44756 ай бұрын
The same laws and options are available to us who are broke as those with big incomes- yes if you know what your rights and options are, you CAN negotiate. The ONLY difference is knowledge and posture - they will walk all over you when they feel your powerlessness, but knowledge about what you can negotiate is power. If you carry your negotiation with confidence- you will get what you are asking or negotiate very close to what your rights are in the fine print.

One thing I do is bring my own copy of my drivers license when I test drive a car. Most dealers will hold your ID hostage to get the upper hand on negotiations and keep you from leaving. Bring your own copy of front and back of the drivers license and give to them instead of your actual ID

I'm not understanding...how can a dealer keep your license? Tell them you don't want the car, give me my license and leave. 🤷🏿♂️They can't hold your license because of negotiations. STOP ALL NEGOTIATIONS‼️
@MyWillbot11 ай бұрын
@@ubad1981 have you ever gone to a dealership? This is a common tactic, take your license to “make a copy” of it, but then they hold onto it to keep you there. If you give them the copy, they can’t hold you hostage

I think the take on black women not accepting a coffee date is ridiculous. He is generalizing an entire group based off of the actions of a small percentage. I think most women are good with a coffee date.

I think the idea that “if you have to finance a car, you’re buying a car outside of your budget” is not great everyday logic. Some people really need a car and they can pay a monthly bill but may not have thousands to pay for a car. Also, those cars in your budget might break down in three months. What’s the point of that?

I want to know who won’t go for a coffee date, but they’ll settle for $99. These type of guys are so confused. How can you say the first date doesn’t mean anything, then say you can’t spend $10 on coffee, then talk about it says nothing about your worth. I don’t think the date has to be expensive, (I actually like the coffee date and walk to talk and get to know one another) but this very low limit that he puts on what he will spend on a first date does say something about how much he values her
