We need the small version here in the U.S 😢 like the cx 60 or cx80 2 rows for smaller or single peoples 😮 with foglights. Also we need more meat on the tires for a smoother ride!!!😮😢😢

What are the dinging noises during the road test? Was distracting...hopefully something that can be turned off?
@Drivecomau2 ай бұрын
It's a part of the driver monitoring system. It's a little more active for us on video (though it sometimes struggles when wearing glasses too) but it, and other safety systems, can be switched off.

But they have to be switched off every time you start the car! Not Mazda's fault you can thank ANCAP and their star ratings for that.

Is the 2.5L petrol engine on the plug-in hybrid the same one on CX-8 FWD model?

I think the CX-80s is in a longitudinal layout compared to the CX-8s transversal layout

CX-3 should be called Mazda 2 Cross CX-30 should be called Mazda 3 Cross So many CX names to recall its insane 🥲 But I love Mazdas their interiors are always amazing compared to other Japanese auto makers

In Japan, we have CX60 which is basically the same car, but the reliability and quality is so poor and the sales became terrible. So many recalls, so many service campaigns, and so many issues being left. Engine, transmission, suspension, many noise from the interior, etc. Here none of those are mentioned so I am wondering if these are only in Japan.

here in the philippines we also experience all that u said. How i wish that they could replace the suspension and get rid of the whirling sound when in low speed
@Adam-ns3fc3 ай бұрын
That's the case also in Europe, but these are different models CX60 is 25 cm shorter, has different suspension etc. According to Mazda all the issues of CX-60 are supposed to be fixed for CX-80

Similar issues in Australia, however Mazda Australia provided a free suspension upgrade and a gearbox re-map and improved the cars drivability by a decent margin.

Here none of them mentioned cause if they talk about it then Mazda never invites them back again to test drive cars...

Is this a paid ad?
@YZinAus3 ай бұрын
I think Mazda just started promoting CX-80 for the Australia market, all of a sudden multiple KZbin channels released reviews on CX-80 within the past few days, which is not a bad thing. I’ve been keeping an eye on CX-80 and trying to find good reviews but there weren’t many previously.
@Drivecomau3 ай бұрын
No it is not a paid ad, Mazda invited Drive along to the international launch and we can review the CX-80 how we see fit. We look forward to getting the vehicle through the Drive garage for an in-depth review on Australian roads, so stay tuned.
