UPDATE AFTER TRYING RECIPES!! For turkey stir-fry, we LOVED this one!! It's so versatile and you can add whatever veggies you want. For the caramel apple pancake bake, my husband loved it just the way it was. I really liked it, but I'd like to experiment more. I think I may add more apples to the mix next time. Also, I was wanting more of the caramel flavor. I did sprinkle some on the top before I ate it, but then the syrup kind of drowned out the caramel flavor. I'm wondering if maybe marinating the apples in it first might work. With that being said, it's one of my favorites and I will definitely be making it again! I encourage everyone to use my recipes like this as a guide and really play with it to your liking! I'd love to hear what you all come up with! :)

I text my son last night to tell him what I made and he dropped by this morning to take some to work for his breakfast, he took two portions so he could have it again tomorrow. Thank you so much, Gloria!! Don't you love the versatility of the pancake bakes?? That's the best part! I always tell people the purple plan "sits on my shoulder" so to speak. I do the blue plan but when it comes to picking between two different things, if it's zero on purple, that's what I go with. I've been trying to replace my 3-point pretzels at night with 3-point popcorn. The popcorn is zero on purple so that tells me it's a better choice. :)

Hi Kristi! Hope you’re having a good week, this week seems hard for me, but I guess I’ll know more on Fridays weigh in. I think my issue is I got a few low point items, but have been eating more of them than I should. Oh well, it’s important to just keep going, no matter how bad the week is. LOL. We are headed to work today (we are kind of construction, so when it get busy, we essentially live/ work out of the car! Talk about hard at times.). Will probably have subway for lunch. Just popping in to say hi and hugs! Chelle
@PlanningUsHealthy4 жыл бұрын
Hi Chelle!! I know EXACTLY what you mean! I have had times where I have a bad week and it's actually on low-point items!! I remember when WW had cereals they came out with and there was one I loved so much, but let me tell you - I could eat the whole box!!! So, sometimes low-point foods can be huge triggers. I hear a lot who are struggling right now. I feel like I've been struggling, but I don't know that it's so much a struggle, but a plateau. I feel like I'm just comfortable right now and I don't ever want to stress over how fast or slow I lose, so maybe that's why. I don't know. We will all get it!! Sometimes we have to bring ourselves back to the day one and back to the basics to jumpstart!! Subway is an excellent choice!!! You've got this, my friend!!!

Awesome Angela!!! Thank you so much! No questions are weird questions around here, so ask anytime!! My husband raved about his and said he liked it just the way it was. I want to experiment more. I may add more apples in the mix. The caramel flavor wasn't really strong, to be honest. I didn't really use much of it so I sprinkled a little more on it before I ate it, but then once I put the syrup on it, that kind of drowned the caramel flavor. I'm wondering if marinating the apples in the caramel syrup first would help (?) I will DEFINITELY make it again though!! The apples on top made it almost seem like apple pie!!
