Beautiful car. Unfortunately i think jaguar as a brand is finished with their stupid policy on electric cars.

​@@Bogdan-Kremlinthey are all dead and only hookers of their politicians. That's why I only drive classic cars minimum 12 years old from now. Currently I drive a stunning BMW E39 530d in mint conditions. Best of the Best and way better than any modern BMW.

​@PermanentHigh . Did the world have a structure to support Fossil Fueled cars when they replaced the horse? In the UK, there are now many more Rapid Charger points than there are fuel pumps. Have you stopped at a motorway services recently and looked at how many rapid chargers are being installed ?

Had one a few years, solid quality build, great fuel mileage and lucky passengers love it. Only problem ... JLR dealerships are ... perhaps reflective of the state of the company. Most staff don't understand what a 'luxury' brand means ....

Resisted changing from my XJR to the later XJ, big mistake! Love my XJ, been driving it for over two years, absolutely love it!

I've always loved the Jaguar XJ and I'm looking at purchasing one in either Portfolio or R-Sport trim, petrol powered 3.0l Supercharged. If money wasn't an issue I'd go for a XJ575.🎉😊❤

I disagree with some comments here. This is not (one of) the best reviews of this Jag. When you launch a car review of a 2016 model in 2024, I'd expect some clear advisories concerning the Pros and Cons when considering buying one. What are the typical faults? What to check during a test drive?... And in the section "cost of ownership" I'd definitely expect some examples with concrete figures of the running cost, not only the fuel consumption from the brand itself.

@PermanentHigh I drive a reliable 2006 XJ Super V8 long wheelbase,was going to trade it for a newer model but no thanks.If I trade in,I have to buy 2 Jags and a tow truck lol. Toyota Corolla would be a better choice ha ha ha
