Imagine how bad that trombone soloist must have felt when everyone did a half-assed clap for his solo while the saxophone basically got a standing ovation. His solo was really good! I don't understand people.

Justice for the trombone soloist, he played a really great solo and he got a little clap and the sax soloist got a big applause when they both had good solos. Overall the whole band did really great for being in highschool.

Omg, take a chill pill, now everyone appears to be a jazz master because they saw whiplash 2 times. Most of you dream about being half as good as the drummer from this video, just a reminder, it is a JAZZ HIGHSCHOOL BAND AND THEY FREAKING KILLED IT!! Stop being so all high and mighty and enjoy the effort they put into their music.
@oskarcollison18013 жыл бұрын
Exactly!!!! Music is the finest language known to man and these 15-18 year olds are almost fluent yet these people think they’re high and mighty because they saw whiplash and la la land it’s ridiculous

As a musician for more than 7 years I think they bit off more than they could chew. I'm not saying they played like crap but it wasn't very good in my opinion. The drums were aggressively loud and the sax solo did not fit the mood of the song. Other than that I though it was good.
