When I was 12 back in 1983, I played the drums/percussion in band, for 3 years total. Our school colors were red and white, so I had to buy white shoes for when we marched in parades. I had the exact same shoes, I love that they have come back in style! I didn't have parents that were really supportive of my playing, so I never got to have a kit. I love watching you live the dream that I had at your age, wearing the same shoes. LOL! Back then, there were very few females that did percussion, which made me want to play even more. Thanks for working so hard and getting to do so many cool things I never came close to doing. It's been fun watching you grow and become so accomplished. So proud of you! Girl Power!

Truly an inspired bit of playing. Staying on top of the syncopation without it either getting away from you or rushing the bars is the mark of a great artist. You have every right to be proud of this accomplishment. This puts you in a stratosphere of truly rarified air that most drummers will never breathe in their lifetimes. Rich, Krupa, Roach, Gadd, and a short list of others dare to tread where you now stride. Keep your joy, and some healthy humility, and there's no telling where this may lead!

Nandi you are such a joy to watch. I’m a grumpy middle aged man and watching you makes me feel young again, seeing how much happiness drums bring you is infectious. Don’t ever let the industry or naysayers get you down, although with your skills they will more likely be begging you to sign a contract 😀. Have you ever listened to Mastodon? Brann Dailor, their drummer, is one of the most skilled technical/fill drummers alive today. If you aren’t already aware of his drumming I would highly recommend a listen to his (Mastodon’s) catalog. His style would be a great addition to your skill set. Either way though, you are a stunningly powerful talent with more skill than most drummers will ever have in a full lifetime, and you have an incredible career ahead of you. My jaw still hurts from hitting the floor when I saw you play with the Foo Fighters, one of my favorite bands. You played like you were Neal Peart in disguise. I didn’t see any fear or anxiety. Just happy. You nailed it 1000% perfect. I can’t wait to see where the road takes you in the future. Jason
