You have analised the plate construction engineering very well. With the help of a good machineshop you modify the existing plate itself.

You didn't follow the Carberry instructions!!! You didn't tap the bearing center onto the crankshaft taper just before tightening the plate. If you don't the bearing will be loose on the crankshaft and not do anything.. so Carberry says . . try and see!! test again pls.

Mene new standard 500 or standard 350 dono chalai he...abhi standard 350 le li he...500 vibrate jyada karti thi....but 350 smooth he...or ingen round bhi jyada leta he kyoki crank halki he 350 me... ISLIYE pik up bhi fast he 350 me...baki standard 350 ka maza hi or he... locking nahi karti he... classic jitni... STROKE achche niklte he standard 350 me...ok THANK YOU

I tried using this plate in my standard bullet 500, but its giving some unusual sound from that area...(RHS cover). So i replaced back with original plate now...very much dissapointed😢

Bhai meri classic 350 ka amp meter center me hi rehta h chalate time or jab raat ko bike chalate h tho meter ki needle tik tik ki tareh move kri h center se hlki si - ki taref or headlight ki rosni bhe raat ko kam jyada kam jyada hoti h halka ka fark h vese tho but ye kyu hota h.

Really I liked this video sardarji🙂👍. Yes there is slight difference between plate design (like that 2 holes) but if we think about vibration reduction its very less. Itna kuch farak nahi laga. Bro magar highway & city me chalate samay kya laga ye jarur batana.thanks a lot.

Maine last month gunmetal grey purchase ki thi or uske tank se paint utarna shuru ho gaya hai And company ne iska koi solution nahi diya and i ask him to change the tank and they refuse to change it What can i do please help

You can do nothing because royal Enfield doesn't give any guarantee for the colour and there is a problem in matte paint of royal Enfield sabhi matte paint k chote chote chips ban k utar rahe hain...maine bhi gunmetal leni thi but i cancelled the booking cos of paint issue and bought a standard 350.

This plate of course supports the crankshaft very effectively and eventually will reduce the to some extent, if not for fully reducing the vibration. I would suggest to modify the existing engine to chassis fitment with hard rubber mounts ie. sound block bushes which can reduce the vibration passed on to the body from the engine, to great extent. Be better if you installed it correctly! Always centralize bush on shaft and ensure it’s pushed home then and only then can you tighten the plate in its correct location.

Very informative vdo bhai. Agreed that cost is exorbitant. Tell.us how it feels while riding in range of 80 to 100 kmph. Carberry claims.to reduced vibrations on 60-90 kmph range and not on low speeds.

It's not Worth.... Any gud quality die maker can redesigned the part, to suit to old plate. And vibration will not reduce only With that. All mountings and bushes to make it in good quality. Thn Some were that vibration will reduce.

I don't agree with you, you are not considering the engineering that Has gone in making of this plate and if you feel it is so costly why didn't you design it yourself instead of criticing such a mater piece for only rs 3000. As such royal Enfield is not for cheap charlie.
