Again - awesome work done here ! Thank you for taking us with you through this process. Have you been thinking of using Screws in a different colour (black for example), so the carbon-Finish isn‘t disturbed like with the original steel-screws ? And what are your plans for the tank ?
@zrcarbon9937Ай бұрын
Many thanks for the compliment! I thought about it yes, but I quite like the stainless steel bolts and washers on the fairing. I would like to make a carbon fiber tank. Also planning to do just a carbon tank cover. Never done those before. Will be a good learning experience for me 🏍️🛠️🤘

are you going to clear coat or polish the side and front fairings? And yes, the video is very insightful, thank you!
@zrcarbon9937Ай бұрын
Hey Thanks so much! Yes, everything going to be clear coated and polished. That’s probably my next vid 🛠️🤘

Great job ! Did the large mold with molding past has deformed during the post cure ? I already had deformation issues using high temp molding past for large mold
@zrcarbon9937Ай бұрын
Hey That’s bad The post curing temperature must be increased very slowly Start on 60c for two hours and every two hours rise the temp with 10 degrees Celsius up to 120.

@@zrcarbon9937 alright. Thanks I'll take notes. I used the post cure cycle gived by easy composite for the emp160
