Awesome video. So inspiring to improve my composites work. If you had to have holes for air-flow. Would you drill it in the CF part before Clear-coat or "mold them" by drilling the original part before creating the mold?
@MatthieuLibeert7 жыл бұрын
would cut them at the end then clearcoat! glad to hear you liked the video :) good luck!

Even though you are making a laptop stand, Do you have any idea what carbon fibre cloth would be good for making car parts?
@MatthieuLibeert7 жыл бұрын
depends on many factors so hard to tell... you have many options available and could all be suitable for car parts

Hello! I am a student interested in CFRP. I'd like to know if it'll be profitable to make these carbon fiber products if you were to sell them. Also how much does it cost you to make these products? I also watched your carbon fiber table video. Your videos are very interesting! 👍👍👍

can you tell me about coupling coat? why it's needed?
@MatthieuLibeert7 жыл бұрын
the coupling coat will prevent print through of the backing layers and create a good link inbetween the gelcoat and the tooling resin :) hope this gives you some more information. Otherwise check the Easy Composites website where you find more information under the product.
