Carbquick Low Carb Homemade Biscuits Review

Here's my 2nd batch of biscuits using #Carbquick. We discovered that for biscuits, you need additional liquid and rather than the extra water from our 1st batch, I added 1/4 stick of melted butter. Yummy!

Welcome!! I've been meaning to post my video here where I made my pizza crust with this stuff. It's really cool and although NOTHING is like the real thing...lol...it worked out. I can't even really cook and it still worked out. lol. I'll try to post that soon for you. It's so good! We are still teleworking although the hubby's had to go in a few times. He's also the grocery store person about every 3 weeks. I've never left the house except 1ce to take Willy to the vet ER. Stay safe, my friend!

I am wondering if anyone has used this to make a thickening gravy (white sawmill) for biscuits? Bacon grease and carbquick flour, salt n pepper, and heavy cream and maybe a little water if it gets too thick? For Non keto, I use reg. flour and 2% milk to make regular gravy that way, so why couldn't the substitutions I named be used? Gonna try that one day soon.

I filmed this 2 year's ago, however, a quick Google today actually shows that the Amazon price for this 3 lb. box is still currently $14.99 and I Googled WalMart which shows $16.99 as of 2-8-22. You can, however, get the smaller boxes at WalMart if you just want to try it and not have the large box like I got. I've still got to post my pizza crust video. Time flies! lol.
