Their official communication with regards to Polestar was "it's time to take the training wheels off" - Polestar is not always going to be associated with Volvo. That's where they started, but Geely wants Polestar to be their performance brand in the western market, like Geely's Porsche or BMW. As we will see very soon, their cars are beginning to differentiate themselves from Volvo and they are even developing their own platform for the 5 and the 6 which is bespoke to Polestar.

Nissan leaf was first since 2011, not including the few Tesla-Lotus Roadsters. Tesla started building cars about the same time as Fisker's Karma.

@BryanA3115 okay, I thought it may be one of the 2023s. When I saw the $25 price on the news, I went looking. Everything I found was "in as little as 2 days." I didn't find any $25k models, but I didn't want to send money and hope it arrives.
