Thank you! I've been using the Wal-mart/Amazon products for many years with > average success. I found your video about a month ago which led me to the nv website. At first, I ordered Boost and Lustre...wow. Then, my next few orders included finesse for my DA, Purify for my clay bar, Purge for my wheels, Clarity for window/general cleaning, Nourish and Guardian for my interior leather, and snow plus as a wash to start the whole process. NV products are awesome. I threw away everything else on my shelf. Especially the Chemical Guys...their products are terrible.

Gday mate and another good video. I am a bit slow so I ask after you apply your super dooper protection like EVO, UK, Optimum or others like it, where does this great new product fit in???? I.E. there is Reload, Nova Jet, Cosmic SPritz, Angelwax Ti22 that are so-called toppers or enhancers. I was just wondering how and why you would use this as opposed to the use of ceramic toppers???? Of course, you have bead maker and the thousand other quick detailers. As you can guess it can get very confusing. I think I know why you would use this but an explanation from yourself would unconfuse me no end!!!! Thanks mate and there is that music again. Guardians of the Detailing Galaxy.

Thanks for this review Sandro, I’ve been looking for a qd, for my cars i coated with kamikaze zipang, after blow drying bulk of rinse water. Most qd’s I’ve tried have reacted with the coating, often leaving haze. Jeff Kogler I was interesting in trying Boost out as well. I have been topping Lustre with Jet now for about a year. Very happy with the results. I just watched another video, however, that has gotten me a little concerned. A comment was made that when you stack the two products their durability is not as long as if you applied just one of them alone. I contacted the US distributor and he confirmed that statement as well. He said if you stack the products you might get a month of production. I wonder if Boost would extend that production or if I should just use either Lustre or Jet. I believe Sandro preferred Jet over Lustre if he had to choose. The US Distributor opted for Lustre. I understand that this choice comes down to personal opinion.

Hey Sandro, would you spray Boost V2 directly onto a drying towel and then dry the car with it? Or what’s the appropriate way to use a drying aid?
@CarCraftAutoDetailing5 ай бұрын
I would firstly and safely remove the bulk of the standing water with a drying towel or blower and then use Boost V2 with a couple of standard to plush microfibre cloths to mop up the rest of the water and finish streak and spot free - you can either spray it directly in the panel or on one of the cloths and work panel to panel around the car.

@@CarCraftAutoDetailing how would you compare Boost to the newer Boost V2?
@CarCraftAutoDetailing Жыл бұрын
@Erik Leach V2 is more like Nova Jet and Lustre combined in terms of looks, durability and performance but applies even easier like a quick detailer.
@erikleach1753 Жыл бұрын
@@CarCraftAutoDetailing really?! My intention was to coat with Nova Evo, then top with Lustre and Jet. Is Boost V2 really close enough to the darkening and shine of Lustre to replace the combo? @CarCraftAutoDetailing Жыл бұрын
Yes, I would personally say V2 is more like a durable top coat that looks and behaves like Jet and Lustre rather than a QD - it just applies easy like a QD

I’m not sure why but I just used this on my brand new coated Lexus. (It’s been coated with CQuartz UK 3.0 and CQuartz SiC for two weeks), and it left a haze and streaks that will not go away. It’s bizarre. No matter what I do they come back like 2 minutes later. I’ve tried 5 different types of brand new microfiber towels. It’s not just a little bit of haze, it looks like thick buffer trails all over the car. I used it sparingly I tried again a few hours later with a little more product. Both ways with the exact same result. Also the same thing on the glass. Maybe a bad batch?
@CarCraftAutoDetailing3 жыл бұрын
I can only takes some guesses, but a bad batch or bottle is always a possibility but a little more rare in general. I’ve not tried Boost over SiC as yet and sometimes certain products don’t mesh well so that’s another possibility. Other times it could be something going on with the paint surface itself. Have you tried applying another top sealant or detailer on top before Boost - how did it go or react and if so is there anything else on top of SiC or has there been in the past? Boost is formulated to come off after a wash or two at most, so you could try another product to see if it’s a product or paint issue. It’s just about trying to diagnose what the issue is and a little investigation is sometimes needed.

I was literally thinking about qds and how they cover up that amazing water behaviour... having spent 3 days correcting, polishing and coating my M2 with Gyeon Syncro... the water behaviour is mind blowing upon its first wash, but QDs will simply cover that stunning behaviour... as this doesn’t cover up the coatings characteristics I really do need to try this QD!... any chance of recommending a supplier who would ship to the UK? 👍

@CarCraftAutoDetailing3 жыл бұрын
I think I’ve had one other person mentioned a similar issue. I can’t remember exactly but it may have been due to not shaking the bottle before use. Also sometimes the paint needs a reset if it’s been a while since it’s had a good decontamination wash/clean and IPA wipe down which could potentially also help remove any older sealants and environmental contamination which could be causing bonding issues, but it’s hard to say for sure!
