This was a interesting tort case. I’m a first year law student and as I continued studying I predicted this outcome. Freedom of speech is limited. Defamation, invasion of privacy and libel are separate issues. The legal definitions are very precise and clear. Cardi could be awarded additional special damages by the court as well. This case has set a precedent.

This case goes so deep into what celebrities have faced for years. Princess Diana for example was a fatal victim of the relentless harassment of the media & bloggers. Claudia's story is so real & I remember that era😢 Tasha has attempted to change her platform away from that aggressive behavior however, she is not he first blogger that came to fame from negative press. The reality is that 2 things sell more than anything, Sex & Negativity. So only time will tell what happens next. I do think its hard for some people to separate the person from the characters they create. Both women have been victims of the same negative character actions they created. The last point Claudia made was on point ... hold people accountable on both sides of the table & extend grace for the change they demonstrate. I wish peace for both women & I hope people can see the bigger picture of what this means for bloggers on the come up.

This is a huge win for celebrities. A lot of media outlets are careless and misleading with headlines & in the way that they disseminate it. Some of them spread a lot of false or in complete information & create narratives that influence public opinion. Many of them lack integrity. They just want to be the first ones to break a story, so they will do it at any cost.
