Ok so, I think I've figured out why I love you guys so much and have worked out to your videos (exclusively) for over a year........... Because you guys are REAL!! I'm a "stay-at-home" exerciser. I HATE gyms, so I've always turned to dvd's and infomercial-type workouts, (We all know the ones I'm referring to) and I've always hated how "perfect" they've seemed.... The people in them are too "perfect" (most the time they don't even appear to be out of breath), the workout routines seem to "perfect" ( choreographed and edited)... I mean, come on, even their sweat seems "perfect" (it's almost as if, between the warm up and actual workout, the director yells "cut", sprays em down with water to get the perfect glisten and than yells "action"). I began to find it really discouraging, not because the workouts where too easy (some where actually pretty challenging), but because I felt like I was trying to keep up with smiling robots (I mean, really, who smiles during the ENTIRE workout routine?!??) Than, as if by miracle, I stumbled upon FitnessBlender and your refreshing array of exercise videos. That first routine I did was like a breath of fresh air (if I remember correctly it was Kelli's total body super sets, one which I still do regularly). You guys are REAL. You sweat like REAL people. You get out of breath like REAL people. You mess up like REAL people. You don't have a bunch of gimmicky equipment or "dance moves". You don't have annoyingly cheesy music in the background (btw, I love how I can play my own music during your videos and still hear your instructions!!) Basically it's just a good, clean, challenging workout with none of the pretentious fluff. So seriously, bravo and please keep making these fabulous videos!!

Funny fact. Ok so - I am a singer\musician and I have this huuuuge "inspirational" wall in front of me as I am working out. Pictures, inspirational quotes and so on. I don't know WHY but each time I had my cardio kickboxing part I was literally staring at Mozart's portrait with the most angry face ever. Watch out Amadeus, watch out. 😎👊🏻

I like how it feels just as intense, as a hiit routine, but it cuts out the explosive jumping. Much better than making a ton of noise every time I hit the floor, which pisses off my flatmates.

Just finished this workout and although I don't usually like kickboxing (due to feeling uncoordinated with the moves) I must say this one wasn't that bad. Always love doing lower body workouts and this was a good one. You said we'd feel sore in places we've never felt before - well I already feel sore in a different place ..... my throat LOL (saying all the moves in kickboxing) Thank you both for all you give us :)

Before I did it, I was "Ok, a new kickboxing workout with Daniel, I'm gonna die" and I finally I really enjoyed it and it definitely kicks my butt. I love this workout! Kickboxing had me at me peak heart rate.. I'm a huge fan of the 1000 Calorie workouts, and this one is perfect for times you want a good burn, but don't have 90 minutes.. #workoutcomplete :)

Thank you once more for another awesome workout! I love strength, but also those kickboxing routines. I'm never entirely sure if I got it right, but that's also the good thing about it. I'm so busy concentrating on the movements that I hardly notice how long I've been going, or how exhausting it is, and next thing I know, I'm completely winded and covered in sweat. :) FB is my favourite!

I actually had a kickboxing class but I find it hard to shadow box. I feel like I'm not doing it right or like I'm just throwing my hands around.

You have to REALLY focus. Daniel will tell you to find a spot on the wall or the video screen, but that's not quite the best, because you're not going to actually punch the wall or screen. Imagine a bad dude's right in front of you and you are trying to knock that dude out with every single hit. Focus all your energy into sending your fist, elbow, knee or foot right THROUGH that person. If you're doing a cross, put your back into that punch, not just your arm. If you are doing an upper-cut, pretend you are hitting under the guy's chin and sending him up to the moon. When you do a knee, imagine grabbing the side of his head and driving it down into the knee you are sending upward. Make those hits accurate, make them hurt that bad dude in front of you, and get back into position as quick as possible so that bad dude doesn't get a chance to hit you back. I'm quite mild-mannered in real life, so getting this level of focus on hitting a person was kinda difficult for me, because there's really nobody I want to punch. So I have this kinda blurred out face in front of me and I just pretend I'm fighting for my life.

Just did this workout and it was amazing. In case you're wondering about how many calories I burned - my Fitbit says it was about 330 calories. I only used about 5.5 pound weights (don't have any other ones) and I also had ankle weights on the whole time. A huge thank you to FitnessBlender for such a good workout :)

Just a heads up; all of those calorie counting devices are really not that accurate. They are especially inaccurate for the most effective training types to burn fat; strength training and HIIT.

Jihane Kasbi do it as many times as y want but don't overwork urself as ur just getting use to it so maybe do it twice a week for 3 weeks or however many u want an then gradually do it like 4/6 times a week idk lol just a suggestion

I did it the other day for the first time and was feeling ok afterwards, didn't know if I should believe Daniel when saying "you will feel some pain tomorrow" but I have to say I do. I am well trained and still my legs and shoulers hurt like hell :) but in a good way

Fitnessblender...just tried out this workout. Not sure about weights to use ( only have a pair of light dumbells) so I just used two packs of 5 cartons of milk. Any other suggestions for ready available home weights.
