Exactly, and yet they blame first responders (cops, paramedics, fire dept. etc) for not doing their job? There was one situation a fire truck couldn't rescue somebody from a burning house because of protesters. For paramedics, they couldn't get to a wounded person because of protesters. Then cops couldn't get to emergencies because of protesters. I believe these protesters are attempting to abolish all first responders.

The 'peaceful' protestors beating on the windows, jumping & laying on the car, and threatning the officer's (person's) safety, all lead to the same action anyone, including me, would do. Ease the gas and get out of the situation. Here's your homework as an experiment: 1. Go out into a street, holding a large sign, pole, etc. 2. Block a vehicle from moving. 3. Surround the vehicle with other screaming, jumping, crazed people. 4. Jump onto the vehicle. 5. Hammer on the windows. 6. Feel the consequences when the driver is afraid for their safety, and hits the gas pedal. 7. Visit the local hospital for injuries sustained by being run over by the driver you threatened. 8. Receive free Go To Jail pass when you are charged with the following: Disorderly Conduct. Menacing Assault Property Damage Public Nuisance Mob Action Rioting 9. Act surprised when the Judge hands down a sentence of 1-3 years in prison for your actions (and stupidity). Do you get it, now?

Never mind the fact that you can clearly hear them attacking the cruiser. Molly From Michigan do the kids in the street block the street when they see an emergency vehicle coming and won’t let them pass? You must have some weird kids in your neighborhood

I'm glad to see there's people out there that can assess the situation and come up with their own thought. Watch as they play victim and demand the officer be fired for trying to do his job.

I laughed when I saw the cop drive through and thought that is what they get for rioting in the middle of the street.

I appreciate the video, 401, I really do. You are a reasonable voice in turbulent times. At 2:55 you mentioned that you have the option to go or not, this just isn't the case. Just a couple cities over in the same time frame, the same thing happened to a non-officer. The elderly woman was pursued for fleeing the scene and brought in for questioning before being referred to the prosecutor. (Detroit Free Press article dated June 17, 2020) It is titled "Woman drives car through crowd at Taylor protest, flees scene." So, she get's legal consequences for being threatened. The video from the "victims" shows them surround her vehicle and begin reaching through the windows and banging on her car (she had a green light and the speed limit is 40 one direction and 45 the other). No one was injured in the event. What are we supposed to do? There is no winning. I would agree that a "Reasonable Person" would fear for their life in the situation and be justified in extracting themselves from the situation expeditiously, but the law doesn't give that option to a driver vs pedestrian (read that as protester/rioter) scenario. Why does an anonymous group of individuals get to screw with someone else's life without repercussions? You should take a look at that one too for comparison it was less that 15 miles away.

Not really messed up, what do they expect is going to happen, blocking a cop car, when they are obviously trying to get somewhere?
@flakeyfilms57924 жыл бұрын
It isn't messed up at all. The protesters are jumping in front of the car, trying to get inside the car and injure the officers. This wasn't a protest, it was criminals. The officer had all rights to defend himself and he even went easy on protesters, he also was responding to the emergency. There are videos of people pulling out individuals from their own cars because they were trying to get through protesters and the protesters nearly killed them. This would've happened to the cop.
@robertaviles84514 жыл бұрын
@@flakeyfilms5792 - they almost DID get in! From my understanding, the driver's window got broken. That's why the officer moved forward, to get the guy out from the vehicle. They weren't trying to hurt anyone, but trying to get to a call and got stuck.

Not messed up at all he did what he had to do if someone is blocking your vehicle and are trying to get in and do who knows what to you you hit the gas and let your car do the work

I could watch protesters getting hit by cars all day. I wish he would have thrown it in reverse and nailed the ones running after him. In fact, there’s your “carelessness” right there: “Officer carelessly leaves horde of protesters standing” 😂
