For me this new Evija is one of the most perfectly proportioned cars I have ever seen, I'm absolutely blown away by it's stunning form and function mentality, what an amazing thing. I think it's fantastic that Lotus have stepped up to take on the big boys and also embrace this new technology and beautiful design philosophy. I really didn't see it coming but I'm so glad it has, now all we need to do is find £1.7 😭

As a gen x citizen, I grew up with the old school hot rodders as my teachers with their war stories from the 50's & 60's. My dad was actually a race engine builder. I have had a real problem with the styling of most super/hyper cars of the past decade. This and the Ford GT stand out as the best examples of modern classic design.

This car has all the aero without looking silly. It looks fabulous from pretty much every single angle, especially in this colour, and the proportions look spot on. You hear designers talk about form and function all the time but here both have been delivered in perfect union resulting in what is truly stunning looking car. The alien spacecraft from Flight of the Navigator popped into my head when seeing this car for the first time.

Lotus are finally are going to have that Halo car that will bring them brand recognition. Its a beautiful but at the same time a very divisive design that will get people talking. So seems a natural fit for the performance versions of every car out there! Combustion vehicles are built to fail and to need repair constantly. Wow! I mean; dear God, Wow! It is not often that one car can look so good from all angles. Nice touch, Lotus, presenting it in a satin silver so the lights catch every beautiful curve. When you see the tunnels between the 'powerpack' and the rear wheels you can actually imagine them doing a job. The rear spoiler, doing a job, the venturi with DRS doing a job. If it really does make 2kbhp then I'd love to see this on the road. Until then; it's just another concept but no since Jag's CX75 have I so wanted that concept to be real...
