We got out of Montana and headed for warmer temperatures with our converted cargo trailer camper. Check out our new DIY washing machine that works while we're driving and meet "Pennsylvania Joe" who tells us about his hobby of hand rolling cigars for his friends while on the road in his van.

At 73 I got up one morning told my wife I was going for a ride on my little Kawasaki. Called her that night from Butte, Montana 725 miles. At 74 same thing only to So. DAKOTA. The best trips are the ones that you dont know where your going untill you get there. I think that's why I enjoy your videos so much. I dont think you know where your going untill you get there.

If ya want warm temps with some high humidity, come to SE Texas-I’m in Houston and it’s about 70* at 4 am. A little rain, possible storms this afternoon. The high today was around 80*. I believe our winter’s over. I’d love to visit your home state, but probably in the summer. Texas is really hottt from July --Sept so anyone who can leave for a while gets out. Rain! What a special treat! I think there are no fragrances more wonderful than those that rise from the wet desert. OK, the Cigar-Man was an Interesting Aspect of The Who & Whom one can meet along the way. Real Cool. Me?? I became a Master Brewer back 30 some years ago after moving to Utah. This Is/Was/Still Is, one of Thee Most Convoluted States in the Union when it comes to Booze. Any Kind. So, because I'm a Beer Lover, and Could Not Find What I wanted when I wanted it, (plus the State Owned Liquor Stores Spent More Time Being Closed, Than Being Open) I Taught Myself How to Brew. Became a member of a local Brewing Club in Salt Lake & Indulged in Competition with My 'Home Brew'. I became a member of The Association of American Brewers, & Set Out to Open A Micro-Brewery.---The Rest of the story is for Another Time. (P.S., if you Brew, be prepared to Gain 30lbs. Or More in Beer-Bloat) Not Very Attractive. YIKES. Erik. Oh Ya, I'll Smoke a Stogey on Special Occasions Any Time. OH BOY.

I remember not too long ago that the Utah brewers went to the state and asked why the wine makers could make 17% but the brewers couldn't. The folks in charge didn't know why and I think they relaxed the restrictions. Is that right? All I know is I buy a supply of beer before I ever cross the state line into Utah to this very day. North Dakota is another state to prepare ahead of time for.

It does get a little cool here at times. People, mostly young folks, still don't dress or prepare for it though.

Is it safe to be inside of the all aluminum cargo trailer camper during a thunderstorm?
@gonagain
@gonagain 3 жыл бұрын
Totally safe, like being in a Faraday cage where the current passes around you. We got caught sleeping in a tent during a very severe lightning storm once and that was different. We ran for the car!

Hi, do you preload your trailer wheel bearing after maintenance?
@gonagain
@gonagain 3 жыл бұрын
I have Bearing Buddies on so I don't need to remove the bearings to repack them. If I do remove them for replacement I make absolutely sure that the races are fulley seated, then adjust the bearing slightly over-tight, then back-off, then just enough to take the play out or barely fingertight.

I got you beat in the laundry department. I give the laundry to sweetie who forbids me to wash things and in about 2 hours I have a pile of hot clean laundry ready to fold and put away, or leave on the bed till later. Interesting about the cigars. The banana glue isn't toxic and won't kill you? It's the tobacco that'll get you. Continue thawing....

@@gonagain I'll have a cigar to kid around while golfing, it's a fictitious image thing, I also refer to myself as Thurston and Keliator as Lovey. One day I'll have to try a real quality cigar just to say I did. I'm sure your plan is sound and you're just experiencing some early implementation anomalous conditions. It will be fine.

Ronald, without the commercials there would be no KZbin. The commercials are how we make a little money to keep going and be able to afford the gas for our trips, etc. Without them our channel, and most of the others, wouldn't exist. I hope you can understand.
