Has there been any over heating issues storing behind screen? I had planned to use center console until I saw your video. As a sidebar; I'm assuming you unpaired your phone from vehicle to avoid a duplicate response. For example an incoming phone call would be displayed through vehicle connection as well as dongle.

No issues mounting it behind screen. Yes only connect phone to device.

Unfortunately not. You need to have wired CarPlay.

I have read that C7 corvettes have a known flickering of the screen. Seems very subtle on your screen - has it gotten worse? Would love to hear if someone has experienced the same and most simple way to fix.

No problems, just refresh rate of screen and camera is what’s causing it, doesn’t happen in real life visually, just over camera.
