I retired from the top japanese import car manufacturer a few years ago. What this man says is true. In addition, I would change your coolant themastat when you change your coolant. It is cheap and will avoid you from getting stuck somewhere with a car that is over heating. Also, try to use OEM parts. Sheet metal too, if you are in an accident. Chinese knock off parts are of inferior quality and often do not align very well. After the car warranty is over, try to find a factory trained independent repair facility. And keep your receipts. Car dealers will try to upsell you! They do not make most of their money selling cars. They make their money in the F&I and Parts & Service departments. I would not trust any dealership! My car now has 190K miles on it. And yes, oil is cheap. Cars with turbo chargers need their oil changed even more frequently. Also, if you can afford it, don't buy a Hyundai or Kia....
