Years ago I asked my butcher if they ever carried Smoked Herring. He casually said yes we keep it in the back until someone asks for it. So, if you don't see it, ask your grocery store butcher if they have Blind Robin or Smoked Herring. It is a very popular fish for many people around the world.

I miss SMOKE HERRING back in the day when I was kid. We used to roast it on the stove back in the 80’s. What a coincidence, I just decided to make smoke herring and this video is only a month old 😂 it was meant to be.

Oh my goodness here I am boiling it out on the stove for it to crumble, and then have to struggle to fish it out in the strainer, and it basically disintegrates. This method is brilliant. Looking forward to tomorrow..
