Don't know if its been pointed out but the pitched down vocal is a sample from Marvin Gaye - Aint That Peculiar. If anyone is interested :)... Nice tut btw.

Were you trying to tell us that PBMS tutes are your favorite high-altitude light source (a high light) *or* that the weed-smoking PBMS instructors make tutes similar to those of the Light of My Week KZbin channel (PBMS is like a high Light of My Week)?

Bravo on having the confidence to share your vocals. We all had a good laugh at first, but I quickly found them delicate and even more vulnerable than the original and that was before the tuning. Great Class. This song holds a special place in my heart.

As you mentioned, those chords sound great! Would be really interesting if you would make a video on how one would come up with these types of chords (if you are not a musician/play the piano/know your scales). Cheers!

Hey guys! Great video, I was just wondering where you got your drum samples from? Also, do you know how to take samples from records such as Caribou does on many of his songs? Do I just have to rip the vinyl through usb and then use audio editing software to get the sample I want? Cheers!

***** Does Melodyne use a lot of cpu? i have a lot of crashing on logic but Melodyne looks so helpful with working out chords when sampling.
@skioakenfull10 жыл бұрын
ConnorTostevin1 Hi there... it obviously depends on what processor you're running, but on my 2014 MacBook Pro it runs with no problems. I have had about 8 instances of Melodyne Editor running together when working on backing vocals, and didn't get any crashing. You can always freeze the track as well once you've finished editing to save on CPU.
