This video is very funny and, I would say, educational. 9 points out of 10 is Alcaraz - Alcaraz hitting winners, Alcaraz from different angles, Alcaraz in slow-mo, Alcaraz raising his fist. Video shows the beauty of tennis. And at the same time it proves that cool shots are not enough to win the matches. Nothing in this video can explain how Carlos lost 1-3 instead of winning 3-0. And why 2nd set summary can be literally written as “Medvedev won 2 games on Alcaraz serve, Alcaraz won 2 points on Medvedev’s serve”

I missed the match and knew the result, but i couldn't help thinking for the first 10 minutes of this highlight video that Alcaraz was actually going to win - his shots looked amazing and it seemed like he was just going to look like simply the better player on the day. Kudos to Medvedev for clutching out the first set and then being mercilessly efficient in the second set, I still firmly believe Medvedev is at a disadvantage tactically vs Alcaraz because his style gives Alcaraz time wind up his groundstrokes and space to hit drop shots and volleys, so this is huge win for him.

@bgc9562
@bgc9562 Жыл бұрын
This video is supposed to be made to show the best moments and points...but above all to highlight the points of the winner and the winner himself...there is nothing to explain here, it is simply US Open being racist and politicizing the sport and only because the winner Medvedev is Russian.
@Rickcarleson2152

@@bgc9562nope, medvedev wins points by Alcaraz's errors. That's not highlight material and Carlos hits more winners, thus he gets more clips. Using common sense is nice, sometimes.

Silent Striker strikes again. What a match! Daniil was sooo ready for this. And he is pound for pound as skillful as Carlos. You can never count him out. He’ll wear you down and wring you out. The only thing s he has to cover a LOT of ground. But he can. It’ll cost a lot of energy but the W is worth it all. Now let’s see if he’s peaked 1 round too early or this was the starter for an even more thrilling main course! Let’s GO!

If u watched the full match you'd know that Meddy had more highlight reel shots than was shown above. Also they chose the best winners mostly frm Alcaraz but neglected to show all the impt moments frm Set 1 and especially Set 2 where Meddy was sublime. Then in Set 3 a quick fast fwd for the editors of this video ostensibly to show Alcaraz was dominant even tho he lost.
