If anyone is around Miami/Homestead area. The fruit stand "Robert is Here" sells soursop trees that have excellent production. My tree is about 7ft tall and has 10 fruit coming in on year 2, I couldn't be happier.

Hi, what type of fertilizer would you use at this current time? Lost all my leaves on my soursop (2ft), in Orlando, and so I am trying to bring it back after repotting it back in February. I had kept it in my covered patio since 2017, now recently put it outside still in pot during rain.

How tall does this grow? I have a sweet sop and a sour sop, both recently purchased and they're in containers. I'm trying to figure where to plant it, not knowing if it has invasive roots. I know I don't want it too close to the house, but I was thinking of planting it close to the sweet sop for protection.

How much cold can the graviola tree stand, could they be grown in east central Florida?
@seneciohaworthii9703 жыл бұрын
They’re very cold sensitive. The leaves are damaged and will all fall off if the temperature drops below 50. They leaf back out if there was no freeze but they will likely not fruit that year. I keep mine potted by the back door and move it inside if the temperature is to drop under 50F.

I need help with my soursop tree. For around two years, my tree grows leaves but it starts to show white little bumps in the central vein and then the those start to spread all over the leaves. Those spots look like solid blisters but they don't ooze or have anything in them. The leaves either curl, wilt or turn brown and fall. I have tried Neem oil and copper fungicide, but so far no results. I live in North Miami; can anyone knows where could I go to have the tree properly diagnose and be informed about an effective treatment? Thanks.
@vegantrader2 жыл бұрын
This is very common for Soursop... The bumps are scale bugs. You can try to increase the amount of neem oil in soap water and spray every week.

Its in my backyard growing I only water it here in Miami do I need to trim it? Or what soil do I put on top of the dirt of my backyard.. Its about 3 years old

@infinitewonder305 I have the exact same problem. I had only one mature fruit out of dozens on the tree. Have you found a remedy for this?
@chinandega813 жыл бұрын
@@carissasue849 Hand polinate. Many tutorials online on KZbin for that. Make sure you are fertilizing and watering it properly as well. If the flowers fall, that means they weren't pollinated. Give it a 10-10-10 fertilizer, lay a healthy layer of mulch a couple inches all under the canopy to the drip line and give it fish emulsion once a month during the Spring/Fall/Summer. Don't provide any special care for it in winter. That will make a healthy tree with lots of flowers.
