Its can be done. The paperwork to get the money into the country is the only issue. I real pain but doable. My buddy bought a nice place in Poblado a few months ago. He just paid the lawyer to do all the work. He said closing cost were expensive.

Hey Carlton. Have enjoyed the videos. I've been all over Colombia as well and continue to travel there. Don't feel like you have to spend a lot of money to go to Tayrona. There is really no need for a guide at Tayrona...the walk from the entrance to the beaches is very straightforward...only one path, takes about 45-60 mins to the coast and another 30-45 to get to the most popular beach. The only significant expense is the entry free. Enjoy!

@@CarltonsTravelAdventures I did take a taxi...think it was about 100 mil from a taxi I hailed at 7am on the street. $30 US is a lot if you're flying solo, but I was with friends so its was no biggie. There are hourly buses from "Once y once," at least the previous time when I went that route. You can stay in the park overnight in hammocks and there are now some other options besides the super-pricey ecolodge. A little internet research should provide the answers. The full-on La Guajira is pricey, because in my opinion, there is no safe or reasonable way to do it without going in a multi-day tour. Colombians and foreigners alike have made this clear to me in conversations, but, as you know, people do all sorts of things that other people think are crazy...like visit or live in Colombia ;)

I am a little confused about the process. I tried it but I did not work. I was told you need to have the active US number to keep the Google voice. If I cancel the T Mobile US number I cannot have the Google voice.

If this is no longer an option, you can choose a new number from Google for free but you will need someone with a valid US number to activate it. Google will send the valid US number a pin to enter in the app. Once you have transferred the number you can then cancel the Tmobile account

This is from the Washington Post - “We are now going after Didi, Cabify and Indriver” Ospina said, mentioning some other apps that put customers in contact with freelance drivers. I like Skechers go Walk trainers, my size is 13 and they have a wide fit then I put Super Feet insoles and there so comfortable, but I got them in London so not sure they are available in Colombia

I'm just so thankful I started investing early in my life. Young people really should realize - someday they will be in their 50s (even through they don't seem to grasp that) - so start saving as soon as possible.

Its not bad. Cheap. You have to be on it every day. At least 2 hours a day. I must admit I have not been doing the 2 hours a day but whenever I am consistent for a few days I see the difference. You also need to just keep speaking to the local in Spanish even if its not perfect.
