Their owner yes. To say that they “miss their mama” is calling the murdered lady a dog also. Our Uncle and Aunt who have been raising my siblings and I since I was 9 years old when our parents were killed by a drunk driver, they are the owners of a Doberman Pincher and a Collie, even at the Veterinarian’s Office they refer to our Uncle and Aunt as the dogs owners and not as “family members” either, but as pets, very much loved pets. The Veterinarian’s Office has both the dogs names, and as for the dogs “last name” both dogs “last names” are listed as Canine.

Some people are suggesting that Carly was having an inappropriate relationship with her step-dad. That might sound far fetched, but who knows? Sometimes truth is stranger than fiction. Crimes like this rarely (if ever) make sense anyway. That's why they are called "senseless." I don't presume that rumour to be true. However, if that rumour is true, I would expect Carly to spill the beans now that she has nothing to lose. What a strange crime. Parents confiscate their kids' weed all the time.
