Attn young people: that pain of a break up seems really hard, like “there’s no way I’m going to get through this” - but listen to me, humbly, I’m telling you, as painful as it is - that love, that heart ache you feel is what makes life good. Sounds contrary, I know. But believe me, like the old saying goes “better to have loved and lost than to never have loved at all.” And it’s true though you can’t see it now. The intensity of the emotion you feel is life - when you are old (like me) you will look back on it and think how wonderful it was to love someone so intensely - even if it didn’t work out. I know. Been through it many times. And I look back on those times, as painful as they were, with great memories. You’ll see. Hang in there. Life is grand. Praise God always.

Love this. Went through what I thought would be the end of me from my ex...and now love has been re-awakened and I'm ready to give it to someone else. It really does heal and it is beautiful to know that you can give it.

From 12 to 35 you were my best friend, my person. Even though we weren't together. 9 years since the hardest day of my life. I remember everything.. our memories play like a movie. I haven't heard your voice in years but I still hear it, see your smile. Feel your arms around me in the best hug ever. You send me little signs from up yonder. ..we're still making memories. ❤

yeah you know, that's the jason aldean-like society: you have to sing about trucks and beer, and if you're woman you have to sing about how you want to be screwed on the pickup truck. Either way Country Radio will not play your music. Meanwhile their awesome Jason Aldean will score #1 hits singing garbage like They Don't Know, Gonna Know We Were here or My kinda party

BigBrainOnMusic I don't even care what position aldean hit with his crap, it's still a fake and bought position. Radio is too corrupted. Alan Jackson and George Strait. but radio screws them because they want to touch different topics

There is no "selling your soul to pop", there are people who have made it, and people who have not. Getting paid a decent amount of money to sing and produce music is making it, not selling ones soul.
@rockpaperscissors827 жыл бұрын
It's sad when "making it" requires making compromises with the art that one truly desires to make. Of course, if one desires to do pop, then that's fine. But no artist should feel pressured to conform to the fickle trends of radio programmers, and that's my point. That's why "country" radio is so formulaic right now -- same lyrics, same beats, with only minor, superficial variations.

That's the kind of music that represent real country essence IMO. Warmness, handsomeness and good lyrics. I think that this one is even better than the first one...

I totally agree! This is the kind of country I've really missed hearing more of on the radio. Just maybe it's slowly starting to come back. At least I hope so!

I cheated, I fought with her, I disrespected her. I even disrespected her family. I even had the nerve to not trust her.. lol. i accused her of cheating when i was the one only cheating In the relationship! what a fool I was. She finally found the courage to leave me. Year later I tried to get her back. Realizing I messed up, I did everything I could to win her over again. It was too late she "remembered every little thing". I pray she finds the love she deserves. What every women deserves.

If your man and/or woman is doing this now, leave! Please leave. We can only learn if you leave us. We say we have changed but I promise they did not change! We only change through the pain of someone we truly love actually letting us go because of our selfish ways. That's when we will "remember every little thing"

The scent that you left on my pillow The sound of your heart beating with mine The look in your eyes like a window The taste of your kiss soaked in wine Every little thing I remember every little thing The high, the hurt, the shine, the sting Of every little thing Guess you forgot what you told me Because you left my heart on the floor Baby, your ghost still haunts me But I don't want to sleep with him no more Every little thing I remember every little thing The high, the hurt, the shine, the sting Of every little thing I remember every little thing The high, the hurt, the shine, the sting Of every little thing They say time is the only healer God, I hope that isn't right 'Cause right now I'd die to not remember Every little thing I remember every little thing The high, the hurt, the shine, the sting Every little thing I remember every little thing I'm haunted by the memories of Every little thing The high, the hurt, the shine, the sting Every little thing

Man this song hits home for me. Was married for 17 yrs happily or at least I thought. In sept of 2020 I got diagnosed with stage 3 colon cancer and freaked out of course. During my chemotherapy treatments one July 2021 morning there was a knock on my door so I go answer it some guy standing there asking for my wife I’m like she is asleep who are u. Well long story short it was her side guy that she had been sleeping with for over a year. She left me to be with him walked out on me and our two daughters at the worst possible time. I’m sick with cancer and can’t work and doing this fight alone when the one person that should be by my side gave up and walked away. I just don’t know how this happen or why and can’t seem to rebound from it. I love her with all my heart and miss her terribly. I’m so lost right now but trying to concentrate on beating this cancer right now it’s just hard and it hurts

My husband of 36 yrs left me for a 38 yr old anesthetist/ massage girl about 2 yrs ago. We are still married but living apart. He gave up his family and friends for her, and she’s married and not leaving her husband until her daughter is 18+.if ever. I thought I couldn’t breath , I was lost , broken and lonely. Love and missed him so much. Our 33 yr old son was such a great protector for me. Then I heard this song. Perfect. Timing! My husband lives in Cape Coral Fl and I still live in our home. He doesn’t want a divorce . I sent him this song so he would know how I feel. And we are over now. Thank God for getting me to this point. Bless you for this song. It’s touched so many people in so many ways.🙏🙏❤️

Listen to her new album. Lots of potential country hits and she has that talent to outreach Miranda over time. At the same time, I've gotten kind of tired of Lambert's music (Tin Man, Vice, We Can Be Friends and Little Red Wagon aren't her best singles and they aren't that memorable to me). Carly's a breath of fresh air and instantly charming. Hopefully she can have the same run Sara Evans had or better.

Love this woman's voice and music. Took far to long and nothing but regret and pain looking in the mirror and realizing your the problem and need to be better for the person you felt was the one since you met them. Tried so hard in so many ways and cared so much only to sabotage everything because you don't know how to handle certain situations or emotions is tough. Been almost a year and still a hard lesson to learn. This woman's music is amazing and has so much heart and meaning to it.

I bet she is so thankful for that broken heart bc of it she got her music out there & she got someone who obviously loves loves her soooo much. I wish I could get to that point (minus music)but to find love who actually gave a shit about me. Wasted 14 yrs being married to a drug addict & then had my heart destroyed again 4 months ago.

This song should only apply to one person in your past. Because if you didn't change after that pain you don't deserve someone. This pain is so bad you really do think you can die from it. Left my ex and I cried on the bathroom floor for months at night. It took everything to not take him back.
