In this video, I solve a slight issue I ran into. When I built the shock tower covers, despite my best design efforts, the back of the Sony C1 changers hit the shock tower covers. As a result, I was stuck and frustrated. Here, I determine a solution and remedy the issue. Enjoy!

I really like that idea of just using the carpet to provide the shape around the components. Its a good idea to get some shapes for free like that where you can to reduce some of the minutiae work.

@yomama5785 - Hey! I totally agree. The end shape is those pockets will be kind of curved as needed. I spent about 80 hours just building those shock tower covers. I am over it! lol:)

To solve the width problem, I was thinking maybe you could waterjet the amps center coupler in half.. I think there would still be enough space for the fuses there. That would move the two changers inwards.

@yomama5785 - Cool idea! But I was super fussy about the placement of the spacing between the components, including the overall length of the 1-Zapco. Thanks!

Maybe you've gone over this in another video, but why was the car pulled apart in the first place? Was something broken in it or something?

He took it totally apart down to the wiring hardness to rebuild it.

@michaelbloom5342 - When I bought the car, it was intact, but quite rough. I pulled it apart until I got to a point where there were zero issues, which ended up being down to the core. The overall concept of the build it to maintain the design and ideas that Earl and Henry had, use the same products, and build it back better where possible, based on my skills and tolls available.
