Block the 2 coolant ports on the top of the LIM (yellow O rings), either weld or tap and plug (1/4" NPT). Than you can remove the blower in the future without needing to drop the coolant. Whilst the heads are away, have them check the valve springs installed height, and full lift etc to make sure you have enough available valve lift for the cam as stock heads are only good for about .520" lift and your cam has much more.

MMM last time I pulled a Commodore V6 with a cam and a broken chain it cracked the ring grove at the top of the piston. Scotty just pull the dented piston to check block in car. You have a hoist. High load and boost top rings never ever seize and take out chunks of piston. Do they?

Dont forget to regap the rings or you WILL rip the tops off . When you put the cooler in and the silicone bends you need to slide a metal bend inside the silicone pipes because they suck in under vacuum . My friend leon owns awesome auto in adelaide and is the gm guru on the v6 engines and knows all the ins and outs of all gm software and engines . Go ring him up for advice if you want . You really should have gone for a water to air cooler instead . The air to air suffers from heat soak . They put out good hp but do have trouble . Get intouch with zz performance in the states and try to get a set of their alloy heads if they still have them . Go hard or go home i say . You really should change the pistons because they are shit stock . I uesd engine tech ones from the states or go some je forged pistons but they are pricey though .
