I think its a bad move going to a tiny w2a cooler they dont work. I take it your using the mini cooler because the bigger intermediate plate is the same height as the a2a plate. Mini cooler is next to usesless at dropping air temps. It should already run 12s without. It needs diff gears and tuning and will be in the 12s.Keep what you got just find another bonnet. My iats are between 45-47 deg on average with a 55mm pulley and 5% overdrive. So a2a or hybrid work even better than the plates under the sc.

For anyone who see's this comment. Fuel regs are adjusted with the engine off fuel pump on, this important if you want the engine to run as intended.
@STREETMACHINETV2 жыл бұрын
Hadn't heard that before
@MrNotStock2 жыл бұрын
@@STREETMACHINETV Happy to explain further :) Ignoring additional factors, equally rising mixtures of Fuel and air can be consider it a linear equation of output. I.e. a stock engine makes 200hp. In order to double the output you would double the air and double the fuel. So fuel regs.... They ensure the fuel rises and falls at a linear rate equivalent to manifold pressure as the injector need to overcome the additional pressure of forced induction. At 10psi manifold (25psi absolute) the reg would increase rails pressure 10psi above the base line set pressure. At idle -18psi manifold pressure, the reg would decrease rail pressure by 18psi. The reg is set at ambient (1 bar actual / atmospheric sea level) this is the baseline for all tuning of all ECUs. base pressure changes between engines but off the top the super mang is 50. Pcm flash forum should have a post somewhere with regards to holdens and the respective rail pressures. You did mention 3.5bar in you're video though.
@STREETMACHINETV2 жыл бұрын
@@MrNotStock hate to burst your bubble but rising rate regulator doesn't decrease fuel pressure with vaccum. You set the base and it rises with boost depending on the built in ratio. Not always 1:1 either. I've always set base pressure with engine running.
@MrNotStock2 жыл бұрын
@@STREETMACHINETV no bubbles bursting here. Just a heads up to viewers. I'm constantly adjusting fuel regs that are set with the engine running. Most ECUs will adjust fuel over a couple days in the long term fuel trims, so no big deal I guess. Mainly becomes a problem in open loop fueling at higher power levels. 8yrs as an avionics tech, 3yrs full time tuning.

I'd really like to see Supermang get a single turbocharger with a 3800 NA intake manifold. I love the M90, but it could never compare to the power output that a turbo can produce on the L67. I'd never try to piss on your parade Scotty, but I'm a big fan of turbocharging.
@Brock_Landers2 жыл бұрын
I just got rid of my 2001 Honda Accord with a JDM J32A SOHC VTEC V6 with a 2003 Acura CL Type-S six speed manual and a GTS3582 turbo running on an AEM Series II 30-6051 standalone that was making 502 whp on around 10.5 psi. Those engines are similar to our USDM J32A2 and make 260 HP stock, but they're also 10.5:1 static compression while the L67 is 8.5:1, so with a turbo rather than a supercharger can EASILY make 500 whp (ask Richard Holdener on KZbin, he just compared a L67 turbo to blower). They are very capable V6s.
