Since we named the base after buzz aldrin, why not name the mining playforms after mission control members for apollo 11

It would be sick if you made a deep space shipyard ( I also think it would be helpful as you don’t have to do the space burn )

That's a nice idea, and also might be a great place to build Interstelllar ships when I want to send kerbals back to Kerbol :P

Enjoying the series a lot! Are you planning to use W.O.L.F from USI? Its super handy to create a system that doesn't require maintenance and constant loading/doesn't lag your game.

That's the plan! Still a little ways off the WOLF parts though, they're locked behind a 4000 science node, I might be able to start using them after the next couple of Interplanetary forays :)

you left a bit when you were deleting them post landing. Don't you need engineers to make some machines work more efficiently?

Yup, the base has about 6 engineers on there now :P the miners are all using automated versions of the drills from USI so having engineers on board them won't actually help either!

Where I am now? Terrible, at this point? Manageable :P It's more seconds per frame currently, but there's been a lot of expansion which will be shown in the coming vids!

I build it in space :P (Extraplanetary Launchpads allows this, you need to feed it certain resources and it takes time, but you can build anything in space or on another planet theoretically)

I’m confused why he doesn’t launch the craft, it seems that he just poofs them into orbit.

He was testing it, so he just used Hyperedit to put into into orbit for testing. Afterwards, he built it in orbit using Extraplanetary Launchpad.

as someone that isnt good at the game, im guessing a mixture of practice and studying the game; stuff like engines, what delta v is, trying to get into kerbin orbit, trying to get into munar orbit, designing spacecraft/aircraft and seeing what works, ect
