To complement their performances at Carnegie Hall, select members of the Vienna Philharmonic Orchestra led master classes on March 1, 2019. Participating young artists-alumni of Carnegie Hall’s National Youth Orchestra of the United States of America (NYO-USA) and NYO2-had the opportunity to perform and work with these world-renowned musicians in a one-on-one setting in Carnegie Hall’s Resnick Education Wing. Why is such a young person giving a MASTER class? Master classes are supposed to be given by mature artists who actually have something to impart. They also know how to speak to the audience and be audible.

She is young and has already climbed all the mountains of Harp mastery. She is one of the best out there, regarding playing and teaching.

Being a master teacher had nothing to do with age. I'm sure rene was a master teacher at 13.....
