So happy to find a video where I can get a good look at this arcade game again! I loved it as a kid although I'm so sad I never managed to get very far. It seems to truly master the art of goofy fun horror.

1:44 The "big" cabinets are known as Deluxe cabinets, or DX cabinets for short. Carnevil's Deluxe cabinet has a 39 inch screen like the deluxe Dynamo cabinets certain games came on during that time iirc

Even one of the cabinets Dynamo made (manufacturer of many arcade cabinets of the 90s, especially for those from Capcom, SNK, Midway, etc) is called the Dynamo Showcase, which is likely what Carnevil's Deluxe cabinet uses, although with a different design

Question: There is another arcade shooter cabinet: I have no idea who produced it, but the theme was something along the lines of a lost gold mine. You had to shoot ghosts that were super cartoony. Do you, or anyone else know what the game is called?

I actually custom built a splatterhouse table top cabinet a couple years ago! It was sick! I eventually sold it!!

I had this exact game. I sold it in 2012 for $400. Must be more now in decent condition.

Aww ya they sell for a lot now. I’ve seen conversion cabinets of this game sell for over 1k. And good condition originals like this are coming close to 3k now. In the past couple years I’ve only seen about 5 total in auctions and on location and all of them are missing the original guns! Was so happy to find this one all original!

@@HalloweenHunters Mine was in great condition with the original guns and no lag or calibration issues or any issues with monitor. I should of held onto it a bit longer it seems. It’s a super fun game. I played it through several times and it never gets old. Congrats man.

@@paedahe4975 yup! I’ve owned lots of arcade games but this is the one I’m never going to sell. The artwork is amazing, the gameplay is super fun, the music!!, and for an arcade game from 98 the graphics are really good compared to other shooters of the era!

They are rare yet there are still 5 in a 100 mile area of me that I know haha 1 in ft Atkinson yogi bear campground arcade, 1 in the movie theater in water town Wisconsin, 1 in mall of America, 1 at the bowling alley 15 miles from my house, 1 in the Rockford mall, and 1 in the new arcade in the other town right next to mine the other direction of the bowling alley haha

Yup I’ve been searching for this game for years. One time I found one on Craigslist for $1,800 which is about retail. Luckily I found this one all original and working on Craigslist for $500. Just have to keep searching and when u see a good deal grab it.

@@StormKittyAnimations Remember Johnny Nero Action Hero by Play Mechanix/ICE in 2004, it has the comic book stages featuring spaceship against ailens, pyramid against mummies, and western town with zombies, but it became unpopular due to the arcade's decline in favor of more-popular home console games like Halo 2 for Xbox and Need for Speed Underground 2 for multi-platform at the time, Johnny Nero Action Hero was never emulated in MAME due to the unusual suicide battery that prevents the game's board and hard drive from being emulated and the MAMEdevs will patch the game without the suicide battery.
