I was so desperate to feel better. I sat my day for the following Monday. I dove head on into full carnivore. Promise myself 30 days, then 60, then 90. After 90 days I decided this was my life. Never looked back 2 weeks in.

@@LillieKane people are LAZY.. It's not that your extreme... If you would rather go ride a bicycle or go do a 5 miles hike in the mountains or do those other things then going to a gym,, That great..do what make you happy while what your doing makes you stronger. We all don't need to look like the world Atlas guy to be strong.. I think there are lots we can do to build strength while having fun, like biking, hiking, fast walking, slow walking, jogging, running, we all need to be physical & MOVE our BODIES and to eat unprocessed foods & eat fresh raw & cooked meats and veggies. I believe we can loose weight, then after weight lose, we can workout, hike, run, fast walking, and such. And like I say, after you loose that unwanted belly we can, and it is ok, we can have vegetables, .so we can enjoy a much bigger variety of vegetables, fruits, & a variety of different meats and maintain a healthy you. And also do intermittent fasting as well. I believe everybody should be do at least a 16/8 or 18/6 or 20/4 eating window to maintain good Health.. Extreme dieting is to get the fat barrel off our gut. Then our body can run more efficiently to maintain the progress while we can eat vegetables, fruits, berries, meats. We just have to pay attention to how we feel & look and regulate our food 🥑 so we maintain our health to get to be 110 yrs old while being healthy. REMEMBER THIS, The oldest & healthiest people in the world 🌎 Live in the BLUE ZONES, They do not ever go to a gym & pump iron, they live past one hundred and get to play with grand children & family functions & family celebrations. Those people DO NOT grow foods for people or animals using chemicals, pesticides, herbicides and such.. They do not eat any processed foods. There milk is fresh from goats & cows that eat what grows naturally on the hills. Life for them is about family gatherings & food, and daily movement of there body. They bike, Alot of walking, hoeing in the garden. Lots of them grow there own foods..if not they buy from the fellow down the road.. They go to work. I am like Lillie in my thinking. It's not wrong or right for people to eat a certain way.. God made all foods good. And no foods are unclean. We do need to feed our bodies with exercise & different foods. But if we are fat, we need to move more and detach the phone from our hand & remove the computer screens from our eyes and get our bodies moving and walk to the friends or other family homes to talk to them.. We need to interact more with family & folks in person,NOT on the phone or texting.. People sit to much. Our bodies are made to move. And keep moving.. Sorry for the long msg. From your fan, Harv Dog

Me again. I haven't missed a beat working out since I was 27. Now I am almost 70. I was able to make that a priority even with 9 children and 3 foster children. My kids were brought up going to the gym. It does leave a legacy. All my adult children still value physical fitness. I'm so happy to see that legacy continue with the grandkids. What a bigger perspective I have now to see the impact this lifestyle has had on my kids. So all you moms out there, dont feel like being fit is selfish or taking time from family. It's really an investment in the lives of your kids. I'm so happy that you brought up these points. I want to be the strongest and fittest I can be. It's not always easy, but its always worth it. A million thanks for this fantastic interview. Hugs to you both.❤❤❤

Totally bed ridden, cant move my limbs , can't even lift my head. I eat carnivore for symptom relief and seeing much improvment in swelling, full body nerve pain, insomnia, anxiety, stomach issues, acid reflux , cognative issues from nerulogical disease, negative symptoms of autism and ADHD (without losing the benefits), full body cramps and spasms that would stop my breathing, when they hit my diaphram, reduced migrains and much more. I definity can't work out right now though, (though I do work out my jaw) . I think it importat to remember that people like me do exist so this "There is never an excuse to not work out" mentality is a tad ableist. I'm hopig that carnivore will continue to heal me so as soon as I'm able, I'll be exercising , with a focus on strength training.

This is the first time I’ve heard that we will naturally start eating twice a day on a 6 hour feeding window. I’ve been carnivore for just over 4 months. I’m totally easing more and more into that eating pattern. I eat when I’m hungry and that is how I’m eating. I DO try to concentrate on taking in enough calories and grams of protein so I have been “forcing” bigger proportions at each meal than seems natural. I started this for help with an autoimmune condition. I’ve lost weight and fat. I have just recently passed some threshold where my weight is going back up but my body fat percentage is still going down. I’m super excited about that!

Type 2 diabetic doing great on my format of carnivore, intermittent fasting 16:8, then 24 hr, repeat. Doing HIIT twice a day, am and pm. Eat till satiated, staying hydrated. have dropped 20 lbs, Average blood sugar went from 130- 150 fasting to 90 - 110. in 21 days. Holding off strength training, till weaned off metformin. I hit the weights, was weak. Dial in strength training once I am off my meds. Thank you, for all your content.

Lillie, this past Saturday, when I went to pick up my mail at a UPS Store, and just for the hell of it, I sat on their scale and the clerk said that I weighed 134 lbs. I am 5'10", and have been eating strict carnivore for more than two years. I was slightly shocked! I hoped I was still maintaining about 145 lbs., but my body knows what it is doing. Though the clerk said I looked skinny, and weighed less than her, I corrected her by stating that I'm lean. Though I feel that I haven't lost strength over these last two years, I've become more efficient with my strength and stamina. Yeah, I want to put on 20 lbs. of muscle, through variable weight training and build more musculature, to appear less skinny. That will happen over this year and into the next. Nevertheless, this way of eating is our best assurance to a long and healthy life.

I made a bad decision yesterday and ate 40 fresh cherries and 5 keto cookies (after 24 days of being super good!). I felt horrible. My gut was bloated again due to the FODMAPs and I woke up with a massive leg cramp. Today, I was super hungry because of the carbs and insulin surge from yesterday, so I overfed with carnivore... I ate a big bowl of clams, ground beef and liver soup; soft boiled eggs, butter and bacon; clams, bacon, butter and soft boiled eggs; and fermented raw milk; and tons of sea salt. I'm determined to get back on track. Sometimes it's okay to slip because it reinforces our WHY.

I was just like this guy in the video described IBS, to the point you have to make SURE there's a bathroom very close by before deciding to go somewhere! That's no way to live. The very FIRST day on Carnivore, every single "bowel issue" came to a grinding halt -- no IBS, no urgency, no bloating (I had horrible bloating after meals!). Also, within 2 weeks my Gingivitis problem was completely gone! I was so amazed over these two things -- I would do Carnivore for those 2 reasons alone.

It's not just lack of desire to improve. Think about it. When your pallet is used to a hundred different flavors and textures and then you limit it to 3 or 4, That's a huge adjustment that a creature of habit would have to deal with. Let alone the sugar and carb addiction, your Ice-creams, chips, fries, pizza, burgers, breads, veggies, salads with different dressings, avocadoes, pineapple, Caramel Latte, Frappuccino and the list doesn't end. I heard a doctor once say that sugar addiction is 3 or 4 times tougher than cocaine addiction!! Food also brings joy, we often eat to get full, but we mostly eat for pleasure (Which is wrong) but that's how it is. So it takes a special person, highly motivated, intelligent, disciplined and a believer in good health, to be able to sustain this new way of eating. Baby steps is the best way to go for some people (unless it was an emergency health fix) but they have to plan it and be aware not to drag this "baby steps" forever. There should be some day-to-day planning involved to overcome this addiction and succeed in regaining ones health back.

Hey I don't fart anymore either lol I did carnivore for couple months, lost 35 pounds, fixed a lot of issues, anxiety , sleep, mood the usual stuff you hear. Anxiety was my why.. I got bored, because the best food for me was beef and its expensive and i can only eat so much ground beef, wont make the mistake of over doing the ground beef again lol. added vegetables like you would put in a stew, carrots, peppers, tomatoes, and I was immediately hungry and had sweet cravings, lost everything I had fixed in a matter of days, and got stuck like that for a month, i didnt go off the rails, thank goodness, and only gained 3 pounds, glad to say I'm back on track, and down another 5 pounds already, and it was super easy to get back on track!

Even carnivorous animals eat a little grass from time to time. If you want a big steak at a restaurant and it comes with asparagus, just enjoy. That won't kick you out of ketosis.

apparently he is my long lost twin...IBS my whole life, anxiety about where restrooms were at all times, horrible gas, and sick of messing with lean mass and strength every time I had to cut. Menopause hit and really screwed me up. Keto helped quite a bit, but not with gas or IBS, carnivore was my saving grace. And it got rid of hot flashes, night sweats, migraines, vertigo, and meno-acne. I will never go back. I feel amazing and I stay strong and lean at all times now.

I am not really having any cravings or needs. But I do miss my old rituals, especially cafe time with a coffee and some pastry. That was the foundation of my entertainment and social time around the world for decades in my life. I do still have coffee, but it feels incomplete. It hasn't been enough to interfere, though. I also feel none of the social pressure. I am quite comfortable ordering what I prefer, however I want it - that doesn't make me feel weird.

So funny we all think it's impossible to eat enough on carnivore (often meaning more). Today is the second day I'm able to eat more than a pound of beef. I ate 1.5 lb. I feel ALIVE. no more hashimotos and hypothyroidism symptoms.

Love Lillie and found the doctor interesting with his perspective. Would like to add that a fitness routine should be moderated to some degree to prevent injury and pain which is also a very important component of quality of life. I know many people who have overdone it with intense exercise and sports and are paying the price with joint replacements and disabilities and constant pain. This doctor and other fitness influencers approach it from the point of view that it’s no good unless you’re going balls out. That’s his profession and not everyone has the time or focus to make it a dominant part of their life. The friends I have that are in the best shape are the ones who’ve never had a gym membership and simply maintained their weight and kept active with walking or working out or doing thing with friends or family. I do have to say that the carnivore diet is fascinating and I’m trying. Amazing health turnarounds by so many people who simply change what they’re eating. Some have these improvements without doing any formal exercise.

I travel a lot for work, and it does take some discipline to eat right. I'll order 6 eggs and a side of bacon from a diner, and that works for breakfast. Dinner i try and get a couple hamburgers and not eat the buns or sides. Or a steak only

I did to reduce pain, increase energy, better sleep. All of those things improved and I lost the 8 lbs I couldn't prior. Carnivore is satiating and simple. No meal prepping or counting calories. I have done no working out except for walking. Do what you can for your level not what others levels are.

I will share how I change habits. First the reason we find change so difficult is because the ego thinks it needs patterns to keep us alive. It figures you did xy & z yesterday and lived so do xy&z again today. It doesn't know the difference between healthy and unhealthy, it only know patterns (habits). And it is sly, sneaky and clever. It'll do whatever it can to get us to go back to what we were doing (to our patterns/habits). The simplest way to stay 100% committed that I found, is to be aware the moment a craving, excuse or justification comes up and do nothing. I stop and give it my full attention. I witness this inner disturbance and may even silently say, hi there, I see you and I love you. I keep doing this until I no longer have to. I remember too if I give in I'm strengthening the habit and that is not where I want my power to go. All my best to everyone.

Five whys (or 5 whys) is an iterative interrogative technique used to explore the cause-and-effect relationships underlying a particular problem.[1] The primary goal of the technique is to determine the root cause of a defect or problem by repeating the question "Why?". Each answer forms the basis of the next question. The "five" in the name derives from an anecdotal observation on the number of iterations needed to resolve the problem. Not all problems have a single root cause. If one wishes to uncover multiple root causes, the method must be repeated asking a different sequence of questions each time. The method provides no hard and fast rules about what lines of questions to explore, or how long to continue the search for additional root causes. Thus, even when the method is closely followed, the outcome still depends upon the knowledge and persistence of the people involved.

I am just starting out… a week and a half in. I did have a better diet than a SAD diet… but grains, goodies and snacks and alcoholic beverages were definitely in my diet. We normally would eat some meat, lots of veggies, fruit, bread and pastas and potatoes… and I enjoyed making cakes and other sweets. Overnight I completely gave up everything except I am still having a small amount of avocado, organic lettuce, and a few berries so far. Coffee, yes, with heavy cream. Also I am fasting from about 6-7 pm until about noon the next day. Hubby is not onboard with it, so I have to leave the room when he is crunching on snacks. I have had headaches and completely different bathroom times! But I already feel better in my gut. Still getting heartburn at night but I hope with time my digestive system gets better. Thats my WHY. Also my joints, possible pre diabetes… and who knows what else. I’m just over 60 and hoping I can stick with this even with being surrounded by people who wouldn’t understand. What are the thoughts on collagen peptides? I had started drinking some in my coffee since last December after recovery from covid. My neighbor said it helped her not lose her hair or to help grow it back.

I have had severe ibs for the last 14 years. His story resonates so much with me. Nothing is fun when you are that sick feeling and worried. I am trying carnivore to help my ibs, reduce inflammation and lose weight to be mire active. Did coach Bronson or do you, Lillie, recommend going dairy free for these issues? Also, what about sausage? Are the spices a potential issue? Thank you for your help!

I started on 06/02 of this year, and the struggle is REAL!! I've been in Ketosis for this entire time until I shoved some 90% coca chocolate in my face because a keto doctor recommended it and I was like "what the heck", ended up eating over half the bar. My brain lit up like a dug addict getting their fix!!! Next thing you know I had a table spoon of peanut butter (The one that the ingredients are only peanuts and salt) and maaaaybe, I had a tiny apple. Checked my ketones before going to bed....little to none. Checked them again this morning before going to the gym, none. Checked them again after coming back from the gym and eating my meat and butter.....None 😡. Apparently it doesn't take much to kick you out of ketosis. Sugar-free redbull (I take a few sips at a time through out the day, and not even finish an 8 oz) never kicked me out of ketosis, but this damn dark chocolate...Lesson learned.
