Ok. My leaky gut is back. I like having white teeth. I don’t want my poop to smell. I’m just going to have to get back on this diet. I’m still off carbs and sugar. I really, really have to have my coffee because at 71+ I need my coffee. My headaches came back when I just went on Keto. I’m going back to carnivore. Wish me luck!

So to summarize: 1. lower body odor 2. lower breath odor 3. lower dental plaque 4. food expense decreases 5. clothes fit looser, but weight remains 6. lack of hunger On point #5, we used to teach "The scale lies; go by the size." The scale can't distinguish between fat, bloat, inflammation, muscle, organ, or bone. Lose weight and gain muscle, and the scale may not move, but your condition does. That's one reason I find body mass index measurements useless.

@@ah-ss7he Congratulations! FYI: Ketogenic diets have been shown to lower glutamate levels in the brains (excitation, anxiety) and increase GABA levels (inhibitory, calming). Glutamate and GABA are sort of a ying/yang duo in your brain. Carnivore very effectively lowers gut inflammation which strongly modulates the immune system and that's also key to feeling better and getting rid of the depression. No need for deodorant/anti-perspirant; hyper sensitive sense of smell and hearing ! I used to have ringing in my ears...that is gone ! I eat twice a day...tend to not eat from supper til noon the next day and then eat about a pound of beef and some shrimp for lunch and another pound of beef and maybe a couple of eggs for supper. No plaque on my teeth :) Not hungry between meals. I have dropped 40 pounds and at 65 :) now weigh and have the figure back that I had in my 20's :)

If you are not eating sugar or fruit or sweetish veg (carrots. tomatoes etc.) then you won't have numbed your sweet sensors. If you are only consuming fatty meat and water and coffee, then water is the sweetest thing you are having, & you will be hyper-sensitive to it. It is all relative.

I definitely spent a LOT more as a vegan than I do now. Even though people on Twitter love to tell me that veganism only failed me because "I was doing it wrong", I was spending a LOT on organics fruits, vegetables, and tons of greens. All of the super foods. Cacao, goji berries, chia seeds, all that dumb stuff went into smoothies. Not only do I not have the buy the organic fruits and vegetables, I don't even have to buy sauces, condiments, spices (though I do buy some expensive salt LOL), and I never have to plan for recipes. Even though I eat several pounds of meat a day, I find that I spend far less money.

Everything you have described has basically been my experience. So many people are concerned about the price, but like you, I have saved a lot of money eating carnivore. I went from having to eat multiple times a day, or I'd be moody, dizzy, shaking, to being able to eat once a day, or even every other day. Honestly, I will get so busy at work, forget to eat, come home and go to bed and not feel hungry. My weight went down, zero bloating, ibs gone, switched to my own homemade deodorant and having it work and not be a stinky mess. It's magical. I should also note that I went carnivore after 20 years of being vegetarian, where I gained 80lbs and never felt so sick, heavy and bloated before. Just a few months on carnivore, my life has changed entirely.

The no deodorant thing is a good point, I hadn't thought about that but you're right, there really is no smell at all. For me though the lack of hunger is the biggest thing, to be free of feeling the need for snacking is great. People think I must be exercising a good deal of willpower to not eat the pastries, cakes or pizza at company meetings, family gatherings and so on, and I can't get it through that I literally don't want it so I don't care if it's there or not. Well I'd rather it wasn't there just because I now consider this stuff to be slow poison and I hate seeing how addicted almost everyone is to this non-food crap.

Yes to all of this stuff. I am going on two years now and I can still smell everything! It's totally like being a dog or wolf or something. This is probably the only thing that I can say that I don't like about the diet. It's good for some stuff but some times I don't want to smell that many things. I do however love the fact that I don't have any BO anymore and that my skin and hair look great! I am 46 and was starting to get a few grey hairs a few years ago. I think that I have stopped them in their tracks and may have reversed some. Also my hair is thicker than it was in my 20s and it grows faster! My teeth are also way better too. And all of my life I had joint pain and now I do not. That alone is worth staying Carnivore even without any of the other benefits. 😊🍖🍗🥩🥓🥩🥩🥩🥩🥩🎈🎉🎊🎆Happy new year!😊

Less time spent on the toilet, only once every 1-2 days for bowl movements and no flatulence. I just feel cleaner and nicer all over. Plus my long distance vision has improved, my skin is better, arthritis in knees is greatly diminished and I cancelled my wait for knee replacement surgery. I have more energy, and gave up afternoon snoozing. I have lots more weight to lose, but I am 60+ pounds lighter than when I started Carnivore. I still eat dairy and eggs so I am not on the Lion diet, but I am thriving just on animal products. I like veggies - I just do better without them. There is more, but I just wanted to confirm your experience of going Carnivore. Good video. 😊

Now that you mention it : there might be something to this no, or hardly any, body odour thing. I haven't realized it, but yes, I didn't smell myself on any occasion since I went carnivore. But I am not going to skip showers to find out how far I can stretch it 😫. Then again, I am under the impression that my sense of smell strongly improved since I went carnivore (started August 1). And that can be really annoying when standing in line at the grocery store... (people really should wash their feet more often ). What I realized just yesterday at new year's dinner : the rest of the family had chocolate mousse for desert. I used to love that. Now I could simply smell how sweet it was, and was actually repulsed by it. Go figure.

Someone may benefit from this:I started carnivore in Oct 2018, very quickly I went OMAD, Not deliberately, it just happened,I wasn't hungry. But, I noticed that my heartbeat had become irregular. To start with It was quite worrying, but not for long. I went on holiday, fell off the wagon and noticed that everything went back to normal. For one reason and another, I stayed off of carnivore for the rest of the year. starting again in Jan 2020. Three weeks in and my irregular heartbeat came back. Now I don't want to stop. So I was scouring the internet looking for instances of this happening. I couldn't find anything related to this occurring and the carnivore diet. I have checked my electrolytes and thought that it was low salt intake, so I upped it and it went away... ...Only to return a few days later. But, I think I have found the problem. As I have said, whenever I go carnivore I very quickly go OMAD I can't help it, I just don't get hungry. But I do compensate for not eating by drinking coffee, a lot, too much. I remember reading that caffeine may be contributory to arrhythmia, so I changed to decaff. So far my heartbeat has returned to normal. I had to endure a migraine, which has finally gone on day 4. I want to stick with the carnivore WOL as apart from this, I have been feeling great I used to have digestive issues, aching joints, sore skin and tiredness which have all gone away. I go for a 5 mile walk at least 4 times a week and lift weights too. I'm actually forgetting that I'm nearly 60 years old.

Yes to increased sense of smell, clearer more focused vision, smooth slippery teeth, no body odour, a sense of ease and comfort in my body, more comfortable in the cold and heat. Going to the toilet after other people is not pleasant, especially those on vegetable and fruit diets. Also, I could not possibly go to a yoga session unless it was out doors. Tbh, a hightened sense of smell is problematic as there are plenty of smells I would also rather not smell, especially other peoples breath and on account of that I will eat teaspoon samples of my wife's curry or any other smelly meal to mask the smell. I noticed that it was really difficult to get burnt or tanned whilst eating mostly meat and bright sunlight/glare was less annoying - I stopped wearing sunglasses. Ablutions are only once a day and regular and smooth as clock work - a minute or two on the toilet and all done. No smell, no fuss. Hemorrhoids disappeared. I never pass wind or burp and my stomach is never bloated which adds to the feeling of resilience and power I feel in my body. I fall asleep almost immediately and awake the next morning fully rested and can get out of bed straight away without lounging. I also have the deepest sleep. I have noticed like another poster mentioned a calmer, quieter nervous system which is great for meditating. My pulse is much the same but there is definitely a stillness, a sense of calm. I think overall the body becomes more resilient as well as the mind and emotions and the senses more acute. Is there anything that is not improved when eating mostly/only meat? Minimal packaging - (it you buy 2-3 kg pieces at a time there is just one wrapper - small impact on landfill), time spent in the kitchen, use of power cooking and water washing multiple dishes, time on the toilet -less water usage flushing multiple times a day, less toilet paper - there seems to be less of everything. The meat I eat is all locally grown with no imports thus saving on fuel and all the other things that bother people who are concerned with their impact on the environment. What else can I say??

Yes, you may notice that most of the food you think you want to eat is disappointing now and not as good as you remember it. The only thing I really enjoy now is meat, I can taste so many flavors in it depending on where it comes from, what it ate, how fresh it is, etc. Unfortunately, I found out I am allergic to chicken and pork, and possibly some fish as well, so only beef right now, I can eat lamb but the wife and kids won't so it is just me and the dogs if I do. I also have allergies and sensitivities to a lot of other foods, so if I do stray I am usually rewarded with disappointment, itchy skin and ears, stuffy nose, dry eyes, and a shot of asthma for 12-48 hours.

Wish I had this knowledge years ago, would’ve saved a lot of grief! Feel so much better doing Carnivore, no body smells either, my 💩doesn’t stink, it’s amazing. Also as a Celiac I found out early that I had to change to grass fed meat, (much better anyway) couldn’t work out why I still suffered when I hadn’t eaten anything with Gluten in it🥴 Took me some time and then I twigged it was the grain fed meat I was eating which was making me ill, as the cattle ingested the grains and stored the Gluten in their meat and fat.🤦🏼‍♀️ Don’t know if this is the right hypothesis🤔 BUT it works for me 😉

"Emotional Hunger" is the term I've been looking for. I spent 6 weeks on Carnivore and one of my biggest realizations was how mush I ate because I was stressed, bored, tired, social acceptance, etc. Eating by the clock could be "Habitual Hunger" and I've had to deal with that too. My whole life has been breakfast by 8, lunch at 11:30 and dinner by 6. Seeing what time it is makes me want to eat even when I'm not hungry. I'm still getting back on track after the holidays, but knowing this and realizing why I'm "craving" food is really helpful.

I learned about emotional hunger when I found out I was autistic. I would get hungry after the kids would go to bed every night and I learned it was because I was seeking stimulation after a sudden drop in stimulation and becoming under stimulated after a whole day of being overstimulated. I have lost weight, 5kg a month but I was obese. Agree to fasting being easy without trying. I have however found that I benefit from taking a meal off of carnivore once a month, this seems highly beneficial. Also I think I have been having the iron overload issues Frank Tufano has been talking about recently. Note: Plants resperate CO2, but Mushrooms breath Oxygen like us, I consider them acceptable on the carnivore diet.

A good possibility....what causes sun burn maybe the toxins in the skin that are now exposed to heat and burn. Step back and look at the ingredients items. I can't say them, little known what they are. But it can't be good when there's 20 letters or more in each word. For example....the new chap stick oil that being promoted has linseed oil. My ex husband used linseed on cabinetry. Sounds scary to me and now I'm suppose to use on my lips! DON'T THINK SO! It's NO WONDER everyone is ill in varying degrees. We SO EASILY except things as they are. We are OBLIVIOUS.

Mircea yes, I’ve also noted an extraordinary reduction of sun/skin trauma. I have a long history in the sun as a surfer in Hawaii and other tropical areas exceeding thirty plus years, and using my excellent 20/20 hindsight vision, a few notable consistencies have emerged- I never used any skin protection, and I ate volumes of “dietary” crap along with one manner or another of vegetable oils, and finally, my apparent time in the sun these days without observable damage or discomfort has greatly increased-relatively speaking. The results from the aforesaid lifestyle has been three in situ melanoma removals and lots of other unwelcome dermal critters requiring excisions as well. The currently mooted explanation for this phenomenon is the production of excessive and damaged (oxidized) PUFA fatty acids inappropriately utilized in lieu of cholesterol fats for the production of skin cells due to their increased dietary presence. The proffered result of this conflation of events is a cell much more susceptible to damage. I think Paul Saladino speaks about this-I forget exactly where. Sorry.

Go all in for a month, some of the problems I had, I didn't even think they were problems until they went away, took months to fully go away. Most of the dramatic stuff happened in the first 30, but every time I think it can't get any better it does. I feel like I dialed back the clock from age 50-30-20 -16. at this point I don't care if it gives me ass cancer or a heart attack at 65, I will literally never go back.

@@gertrudehiggenbotham4987 Well, they are carnivores by nature, but modern dry dog food is definitely not carnivore. That's why so many dogs have various degenerative diseases as they age. I've been on this diet most of my life. I swear I can see in the dark far better then others. I never get sick, or hurt except for cuts, And I've always had plenty of strength. Also I partly chose my wife based on the fact that I like her smell. Also maybe it's genetics but I've aged far better then other people my age. I didn't know this was a diet I just always liked meat vs veg. A few non meats that I eat are broccoli, brussel sprouts, beans, potatoes. But these are rare and only when I feel the need for them. I have't had any sugar in about 2 months, but it was the strangest thing I've ever noticed. If I took a bite of that cookie wearing blindfolds I wouldn't have been able to identify it. I have noticed that I smell a lot of things I never could smell before. I have noticed a lack of body order as well but it never occurred to me to try not using antiperspirant. I also don't have plaque on my teeth unless I eat carbs which I do very occasionally. As for saving money on food, I bought a whole steer at $4.15/lb cut and wrapped I only eat one meal a day occasional fasting and when I eat it is usually 1lb or less, I figure my monthly food costs are around $100/month. I also had the butcher throw in all the bones and extra fat, I have been making bone broth and rendering the fat for cooking and soap making(really nice soap, my wife loves it and is totally getting into it), I have also been feeding my dogs so that has cut a big chunk of money out of premium dog food, the dogs are much better for it as well. I also watched as fat moved around my body (the only way I can describe it) and was slowly replaced by muscle, it was very weird and has gone on for the whole year, my muscle mass rapidly shrunk sometime in the second and third month only to be slowly replaced by firmer leaner muscle. I am glad I was not the only one that noticed this, I thought maybe I was imagining it.
